Hey Philly Captain, great video with your RTP along State Rd-Ne Phila..Glad I-95 near Cottman Ave exit coming along..Great beer/food deals at Sharkeys formerly Flukes..Enjoy & TOODLES..
Hey Capt., the I-95 explosion and overpass closure was what first brought the Philly Captain to my attention. Amazing the speed they got I 95 back open using that special rock. As for Four Season's Total Lanscaping, Rudi only missed THE Four Season's atmosphere by a little bit. 😂😂 What a fiasco. Oh, there's CC TV footage of the truck exiting the ramp and subsequent explosion. Driver didn't survive that. Thanks for the update. Toodles!
Im from Bethlehem Pa and a lot of my dads ol buddies worked at just born and retired. My dad worked in the Bethlehem steel for 25 years seen. Lot of crazy shit ppl died, that was a tough job. Great video philly captain!!! God bless Philly
Cap I got an idea for you for Baseball season. You should do a vid of the booming Philly sports card market back in the day at the the old Bowman/Play Ball baseball card factory on 4851-4865 Stenton Ave and the old Fleer/Double Bubble factory on 2343 Hamilton Street. Its a cool part of Philly history to know we had been making sports cards for decades
Mr Captain. Have you heard about Philly being the first city to bring back pay phones, but they are free. Users can call anywhere in the USA free of charge and even set up a voice mail for themselves. I am wondering if these are already in place?
Regarding Goldberg's, I think the story was that they'd gone out of business, and everyone in the Delaware Valley was upset at the loss of our iconic, locally-produced candy; but then the company was acquired by a national candy maker, and they agreed to preserve the Peanut Chews (although they did start producing a milk chocolate alternative to the original bar).
As I recall the original plant burned down, so they were shutdown for a while. I don't think they actually went out of business. It was forced by the fire. I think that as the founder's family died off the younger generation decided to sell out.
Goldenberg Chews , originally developed for soldiers rations during the First World War as a high protein, high energy snack for soldiers they love them so much they demanded them when they came home. I’m surprised they’re not more popular throughout the rest of the country. really is nothing exactly like them🤤.
Peanut Chews might be the most underrated candy in the history of candy. You were considering removing Shapiro having work crews working 24/7 removed - that is the norm in most countries with actual high quality of life (24+ paid days off, every single EU country) when road work needs to be done. Good on him, as for his Presidential aspirations? He doesn't have a shot. Newsom, regardless of your affiliation is the next democratic candidate in 2028. Shout out to Rick the puppy.
@@static_perspective "Officials revealed the cause and manner of death of a truck driver [ whose body was found in the rubble a day after his vehicle crashed ], caught fire and caused a portion of I-95 to collapse in Northeast Philadelphia.""At about 2 p.m. Monday, a spokesperson for the Pennsylvania State Police said [remains had been pulled out of the rubble.] Family members identified the victim as Moody before investigators officially identified him a day later." I guess the Police and the Family ID the wrong body. 🙄🙄You do understand that "his brother had a contract in things that depend on ur life" is called a LIFE insurance that can ONLY be collected if said person passes away. So if the Truck Driver is still alive, how is his bother going to collect? Money can ONLY be collected if the person is declared dead by officials not if a family member says so.
CAPTAIN'S RESUME MUST BE THE SIZE OF A TELEPHONE BOOK
It's highly edited.
Another winner, Captain! I-95 update and peanut chews, better than the newscast!
Philly Captain rocks!

The Chews are made in there, I've been inside.
I love Peanut Chews and Sour Patch Kids. I guess the Sour Patch Kids cereal would be flavored to taste like the Sour Patch Kids.
That truck drive passed away (unfortunately)
