Omg, I so genuinely could feel the suspense, tension and relief, this was outstanding! Gee, these rallies are exactly your kinda content, your skill set and what you (and Tony) bring to the table and made this channel stand out are a perfect fit for this type of event. You simply have to do two, maybe three per year (not more) - the STG way of the good old Top Gear specials!
I started watching this on my phone and then thought "nope, I am keeping this for this evening and I will stream this to my TV, while enjoying a glass of wine". Just too good to watch while doing something else 👍🏻
Tony was a really great co pilot. He was literally like an F1 race engineer trying to keep Sam positive when they get a checkpoint wrong from time to time. Can't wait for part 2
I've watched this video twice now. It's very funny obviously. But the production values....amazing. Seriously. The editing and music is top drawer it's seamless. It's Grand Tour good and they had a budget of millions. I think this is one thing that's almost overlooked about your videos Sam and it's another reason to keep on watching 👍

This is THE definitive Mille Miglia Tribute video. To get a feel for the excitement, to understand the actual task of competing in such an event .. and to feel the very special vibes only Italy and its people can give you must watch this! All the preparation, the 2nd crew and the outstanding editing make this so much fun to watch as we not only get to follow the team but have so many impressions from the cars, the driving and the unique scenery. It’s one of those productions you wish they made a long feature from. After Drive The World once again Sam has upped the standard of YT car content. Congratulations!
Just streamed this to a big screen and took my time watching this while enjoying a coffee. This beats Top Gear and Grand Tour. STG might not have the same budgets but still, the footage and editing are brilliant while the interaction between Sam and Tony is seriously entertaining (and obviously not scripted). I love the variety of footage... in car, hotels, locations, scenery! All expertly put together and making me want to go on a road-trip 🚗.

I believe there is no more beautiful experience with a Ferrari, together with many other beautiful Ferraris, crossing Italy and getting to know the beautiful cities and the beautiful Italian places and landscapes.

This is f@&king amazing! I LOVE Italy and the look on your faces at the end of the day got me all emotional! You can’t help but love a country where it is OK to have an event like this on public roads and where it is embraced by young and old alike. Everyone should visit Italy at least once in their lives and preferably in a Ferrari!

You so reminded me of myself and my brother in law back in the 90s doing these rallies in a Mini Cooper S we too didn’t have a clue what we was doing at first and spent many moments of arguing and silence in the car but weirdly totally enjoying the whole experience.
