Having meaningful conversations isn't a problem in itself, the show was indeed too light hearted and topics did not allow interesting debates. However, Amanda is everything I don't like: She's abrasive, condescending and particularly deaf when it comes to understanding different opinions and while she's clearly miles ahead in terms of using critical thinking it creates a discrepancy of input between the hosts. Also the whole premise of the show does not make sense. How can a show be diverse when the hosts share the same faith, views and politics? How about having a white, arabic, atheist or buddhist co-host? You cannot discuss certain topics without every parties involved otherwise you just keep running in circle. Now onto the "shady comments", I understand their refusal to bring out the nasty ones, people seem to have a field day writing the most abhorrent things under the safe blanket of anonymity.

I think when it comes to Jeannie’s case... she also sits depending on what she is wearing... if she’s wearing a dress she’ll sit perfectly fine but with her legs closed... if she’s. In Comfortable stretchy pants or jeans or something she’ll put one leg down and sit inward... Tamar sat literally off the edge of her seat all the time in season one cuz that’s her best way to sit and best for her posture... I could care less about the seating arrangement or how someone sits in listening to what they say lol

Having meaningful conversations isn't a problem in itself, the show was indeed too light hearted and topics did not allow interesting debates. However, Amanda is everything I don't like: She's abrasive, condescending and particularly deaf when it comes to understanding different opinions and while she's clearly miles ahead in terms of using critical thinking it creates a discrepancy of input between the hosts.
Also the whole premise of the show does not make sense. How can a show be diverse when the hosts share the same faith, views and politics? How about having a white, arabic, atheist or buddhist co-host? You cannot discuss certain topics without every parties involved otherwise you just keep running in circle.
Now onto the "shady comments", I understand their refusal to bring out the nasty ones, people seem to have a field day writing the most abhorrent things under the safe blanket of anonymity.
Wow! I really liked the way you pointed out how disingenuous their self proclaimed diversity is - being as though they all pretty much share the same politics, opinions and basic religious principals. I hadn't really considered that before reading your comment, but that is SO true!! 🙌
