Give the man a chance, Sunderland was Roy keane`s first managerial job taking over when we were bottom, and we won the league. We have done so called experienced managers, and where has that got us ?
Assuming your pronunciation is correct, I hope his assistant is Mr Onion. Mr Cheese and Oinion's Red and White Army will soon be on tour. He certainly fits the bill as far as the hierarchy is concerned. He may speak English but does he speak Mackem? .Many people think they understand the area and find the reality a bit different. This might present a challenge he's not expecting or ready for given his limited experience. We have to give him time to settle in. but will he get it? Is counterattack is preferred style or was it down to the players at his disposal? The relegation is a factor but depends on the circumstances Did players leave and weren't replaced? Did they have big injuries to key players? Mitigating factors or was he primarily at fault.? Lot of unanswered questions as yet. . .
This is KLD and Speakman last roll of the dice it has to work are both will be out the door. I wish Le Bris all the best hope he can do good job Just concerned that a number Of candidates turned down the club.
Go for Henrik Rydström at Malmö FF. One of Brighton's final candidates, it was said. Doing great in Sweden (he's better than Cifuentes who left the Swedish top tier and saved QPR this season) and I do believe he has what it takes to succeed high up in England. Will SAFC be able to lure him away from qualifying for Champions League this season is the question, but yes, I do believe he'd be interested. I doubt Kyril or Kristjaan will be reading this though...
@@michaeltraynor4825 Yes is the dry answer. But on a serious note, Henrik is extremely interesting and completely obsessed with the game. Plays a very attractive football and very importantly he's very good at keeping a squad happy and motivated, down to the players who aren't playing much. Charismatic and an astute tactician. I understand why he was mentioned as a serious candidate for Brighton. Would be strange if K&K don't know about him, one would think. But then again I'm sure they're aware of lots of managers out there.
it will only end badly if you want it to. if you go in to anything in life with a bad attitude and waiting for failure, then you will only see failure and it'll be a self-fulfilling prophecy
@@ianbanks3016 See, you're doing it again, judging before anything has happened. How about going into something with an open mind? If after being open minded he fails then you can at least say you gave him every chance. Right now it's like you're getting yourself all worked up to be unhappy when there is no reason to yet. Open mindedness is the key.
@@jmmypaddy Ha, ha. I refuse to believe you're being serious. We're stuck with him, so there's nothing to get worked up about, given his track record and win ratio I see no reason for optimism, your two dollar philosophy clearly means you think differently. I'll stick with looking at the facts, you stick with your fortune cookie wisdom.
A great listen Phil your assessments are very logical lets hope we can go on to better things

We have to pay 5 million for him..??
Lets be honest he was chosen because there was no one else left... yay Sunderland got their 19th choice!
Always on the top 5 list if rumours are true.
French dodds?
Not at all.
125 days or whatever it is for this???? A guy with a 30% win rate!!! This will not end well.

Thanks, when we're relegated you can come back and post about what a huge success the season was and how right you were.

@@ianbanks3016just out of interest, would you have been happy/happier if it was will still?
A friend of mine has a French wife, and she told him that because Regis is a Breton, you DO pronounce the s in Bris.
Brexit again, classic Sunderland, voting Brexit and then it delays hiring the manager. I wonder if people regret it now?
Listen pal you can't kid the north east people when it comes to football......We are doomed
Give the bloke a chance
@DuncanBainMackay it's all depends on speakman signing. we need a good striker
No experience in British football he will get us relegated
Remember when pep guardiola had no experience in English football?
Seriously, have a look at what you just wrote....
Get the pronunciation right, you might offend the snowflakes 😱😱
