- We are back at it again, taking a look at even MORE UNO MAS Levels! Today's menu of levels includes some glitchy items, interesting tech, and a few non-suspicious setups as well!
For those that don't know what an UNO MAS level is, essentially it's a short level made to showcase something neat, unique, silly or glitchy in Mario Maker 2. Typically, once figured out, these levels will take under 30 seconds to beat...but those 30 seconds are usually filled with eye opening moments. Let's dive into these levels!

1:25 Dave this level uses a glitch that is Called Pow without collision
If you place a SMB2 mush somewhere (that loads in when the room loads) then...
Pows dispensed by launchers will lose their collision entirely, they can only be interaced with normal pows, blasters, munchers, cannon, chain chomp and its stump, or whatever is considered Solid (not powerups)
The player can't interact with them entirely (i think claws can grab them but you cant still interact with them)
6:38 What is going on here is that the X = 32 position in the coordinates do something with the snowballs and the switches
8:11 The door always centers your position exactly between these 2 blocks, in this case, when you enter it the first time you where exactly between those blocks, and the clown car had a spring that bring you up to the hint room
When you holded right you were pixels away from the spring which then didn't carry you up because the clown car was a few pixels away to the right wall and you moved to the right a little bit

The way the shell jump worked was that the shell bounced off Mario’s head onto the wall, then from the wall to Mario’s feet.

Magic Eye is the opposite of crossing your eyes. The concept is the same, but you move you closer so that you look past the image, not in front of it. You spread your eyes, you don't cross them. (The double image aligning to give a 3D perspective is the same.)

i think that shell jump works because in the older mario games it detects a hit both when mario lands on top of an object or if mario is moving downwards. As long as mario is moving down when he hits the shell down, it registers as a hit and so mario bounces up.

By the way Dave, the one where you went in the door and hit the on/off switch at the same time is actually a frame-perfect trick, too. You can enter the door one sprite pixel below what would be one tile high, and the on/off block is solid for one frame after its sprite changes to the “off” state, thus allowing you to enter the door on that frame. This should work with p switch blocks too.

OwOtism’s POW thing is based off the jank that if a SMB2 Mushroom is present in the level, POWs and springs shot out of bill blasters have no collision. The spring keeps its bounciness though.
DGR is more amazed by Uno Mas levels than by the wonders of the universe.
Just a few hours ago Aura found a softlock in Dark Souls 3, so Dave, now you must play Dark Souls 3 and find TWO softlocks to be the softlock king
The pow elevator honestly reminded me of the water elevators made in minecraft where you use the very edge of the water to climb a wall
DGR, it's really interesting that grabbing an item using the SMB2 Mushroom causes Mario to sink just low enough to grab the sword when you picked up the cloud
I never played a lot of Mario. I was around 10 when the SNES were around, but my parents didn't want me to "play too much video games"... And even I knew that the spring has 3 differnet hights XD

I have played around with the pow glitch since day 1 of 3.0 and if you stack them and jump into them you warp to the top. Working as Nintended

That cannon elevator isn't even a glitch, it's actually a secret feature. Though, I don't know how to activate it.
5:55 My Guess As To What Happens In This Level Is When Mario Presses Jump On The Compressed Spring, He Gets The Maximum Spring Jump Height At A Lower Elevation, Causing Him To Not Go As High.

hear me out...
Setup: dark level (huge in scope but as many, of a variation of that room, as you can fit in it) Each drop would start at the top and end in a box teleport to the next room where it's the same setup)
left side of room: similar to timestamp above
right side of room: completely filled in, with only empty spots being w/e animation u need space for. like a still, somewhat frozen version. ex make 1 goomba have a 2 step in front of it path as you descend you see him for enough time for him to take just those 2 steps [dark level so only that sprite scene] next scene comes up and caen shoots fireball to light bomb next to another goomba that starts 2 spaces in front of the other...
this is getting to long to explain lol hopefully u get the idea

Dave the pow block missing hitbox is very easy to do. Cannons just need to shoot them while an smb2 mushroom is loaded in the stage. Its so simple that i want you to know even though i know you like keeping the magic a mystery. I thought the solution would give you a laugh

The reason you can jump after the on off block is because you can just a few frames after you are off a block when platforming in a mario game 2, it makes pressing jump just 2 frame s too late more forgiving

Dave i have a problem. Im not getting any checkpoints on your twitch streams and there are no chests either. The last chest i pressed gave me an error message and then i haven't gotten any new checkpoints since that. Its a problem. Can anyone help?
