Just as someone who used to work at HJs it's not so graphic as the veg burgers being cooked in meat juices, they use a broiler which is like a conveyer belt over meat. The only concern people need to have it whether the different burgers are sharing a same tray when they come out cooked.
Great video! In the non-gourmet burger category, HJ's wins hands down. I don't get that Schnitz, Opporto, Maccas, etc are all doing mushy starch patties when there's so many great vegan patties (and schnitzels) out there now. I guess it must be the cost savings. Not that the Maccas one is even vegan, so I haven't tried it. And I was sorely disappointed by Schnitz - not only was it not "chickeny" but the one I had was overcooked and dry.

I never knew Burger King was called Hungry Jack's elsewhere!! Yeah, I'm vegan and I don't really care about the shared grill thing. I'd prefer to eat it cooked separately, but I don't think that makes it "not vegan" if no animal ingredients are used to make my burger. I've asked Burger King employees about this and it sounded like once the Impossible burgers started getting more popular, they gave them their own grill anyway bc they needed the room!

They clean the grills and spatulas as well as wear different gloves when handling the veggie burgers
