The NSW government is planning to upgrade the wharves and forecourt of Circular Quay, so maybe those 2 closed shops just got out early? The burger looks incredible ! 👍🍻
The rent down at the Quay would be astronomical, no way they can break even if they don't put their prices up. Then if they do that, people will stop buying from them they can't win either way. I hate seeing that. Or they may have relocated. On a positive note, there used to be this Turkish pide takeaway up the road from my house in Bondi that I used to go to regularly. They made the best pide's I'd ever tasted. One day out of the blue they were closed down. Years later I heard through the grapevine that they shut shop at Bondi Road and moved to Coogee. Now they have an actual restaurant/takeaway, with a much larger menu and much closer to the beach. So I was happy to hear about that and can't wait to have their pide again!
