My reading taste has changed so much that as much as I don't like getting rid of books I've decided I need the space on my shelves and keeping books that I'm not interested anymore just isn't an option. While I haven't disliked many authors I've been finding more new to me authors.
I loved the books you hated by Ashley Winstead. I hated her latest book “Midnight is the Darkest Hour” so maybe because we are reverse on our opinions you may love her latest book.
I've actually only read ACT YOUR AGE EVE BROWN out of that trilogy and I loved it! The beginning with the parents is a real bummer but once she gets to the B&B it's really fun and delightful. Also great neurodivergent rep!
