If Bini keeps racking up points, placing high in sprints or winning, he's going to take home the green jersey and it will be well deserved.
So we had a record of distance remaining until we got within 1 km? Then it switches to elapsed time? What genius thought that was a good idea? That is exactly when we want to see how many meters are left to anticipate the riders going. Makes zero sense. Nobody cares about elapsed time at that point.
It's because they can't really get good GPS data from these big sprints. They get those distance remaining numbers by tracking the lead motors GPS, which can't get anywhere close in these big fast sprint finishes. That's why you often see it in mountaintop or breakaway finishes, the lead moto can be much closer to the leaders without causing issues with the riders.
You can see signs of how much there is to go on the side of the road.
@cvn6555 To say nothing of the almost total lack of info as to where the Green Jersey is, and what his team is doing. I've never seen it so ignored...
Totally agree
@@JMBeaushriimp he’s wearing a green jersey so pretty easy to follow 😊 that said it is odd he wasn’t picked out on graphics considering he came second too.
Mountains awaiting for tomorrow be ready guys
MVDP such a great lead out!!! 😮
nothing like saturday`s stage : Col du Tourmalet
How is it a dream come true when the favorite field sprintee, who has won multiple stages before, wins another sprint stage....?
Haha makes no sense, maybe he had a recent dream about winning again. Sometimes they say dumb stuff.
Maybe it's Biniam Girmay's dream to hold the green jersey? He said that last stage.
@@NoSuldoOceano-zo3lyyes he was second?
@@arnoldhau1 Yep. And keeps the green jersey.
plus not even green jersey
perfect leadout and sprint.
Bini I looking so strong oh man I didn't expect him to be a such a great sprinter, well done boy !!!
he should be. like in running, black man always stronger
He has improved his positioning, and he is one of the world's best sprinters.
Yeah, he was way back when the sprint started. Confidence is magic sauce.
Best sprinters of this year aren't even here lol.
Says alot that nobody but his teammates are congratulating philipsen
SAYS A LOT YOU COMMENTING CUS UR A HATER LMAOOO
I can tell you Wout van Aert is disliked a lot more in the Belgian peloton than Philipsen lol.
Awesome bunch of sprinters😊. It's got to be your day to win the sprint.
I dont know i enjoyed the gyro aprinter stages much better than the tour this year. You had more aggresive attacks by non sprinters that made them much entertaining.
Perfect leadout in a hectic finish.
MVP Hondaaaaaa
They're trying to put spoilers in the description now. What's with the #JasperPhilipsen?
MVDP so good.
Alpecin...best cycling kit by FAR
Finally!
What a World Champion
Who
MVDP
@@DRUMOAK66 A World Champ in the Rainbow jersey who sacrifices his own chances so completely gets mad respect in my book!
@@jamiepaolinetti5087He is told to do so as he is the team's GC contender
remember the HTC Highroad lead-out train for Cav, that was a sight to see... don't understand why more teams are not doing this anymore...
Reminiscent of USPS.
I wonder what happened...
Well before they were....... now they are just extremely fit humans.
Cippolini had the best lead out!! Domina Vacanze
The Bosses are MVP&BINI
I did not breathe for 10 seconds
What a lead out man!! Great job finishing Jasper
Biniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii🥇🥇🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷
Vamos wedi girmayyyyy eritrea!!!!!!!!
😮😮😮 suuuuper wow, what a victory, congrats, bravo big big like, fans at home are crazy happy 🎉❤🎉
What a lead out MVDP!!
Textbook!
The overhead view is the only one that gives a sense of pace or a view of strategy and rider order. Too bad the mix in meaningless views from the road.
Looks like Van Der Poel could have won it if he was allowed to. 😊

Hi mom I'm on TV
Girmay is the boss!
Shockingly good performance given the finish suited heavier guys much better. Bini came in super shape this Tour.
No!!
Not at all. He always got lucky with being in front of the pack.
Viva bini Ma hero great job💪💪💪👊👊
@@martinpospisil3747 😂😂😂😂😂 Ehhhh…dunno about that man, I mean sprints are usually won by the guys who are at the front of the group no? And it is important for a sprinter to be able to be at the front of the group if they want to win, am I wrong?
Ne laisser pas gagner bini
Bini is strong in sprinters
He didn't try to kill anyone this time. He should be relegated, since this clearly wasn't Philipsen.
Bini is the boss !❤❤🎉🎉🎉🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷💪✊

Congratulations MVDP and bini NOT FeariPSEN 🎉🎉🎉🎉🇪🇷🇪🇷
Yasper blocksen short sprinter
with out vander poel is nothing,
BINI SO STRONG ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Yes
@@Kdsti19you clearly haven’t got a clue. You watch cycling purely because Bini is African, right?
ቢኒ🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷💪💪💪💪❤❤❤❤
You know
I this case it was not dangerous, but in the last shot with MVDP he (Jasper) is in the middle of the road 4:37. In the next frame 4:40 , he is directly at the wall. I expect him to be relegated the next time when there is a rider between him and the wall. Jasper needs to learn to go straight.
lol what ? he was obviously leaving the sprint after his work was done >-< The rules state when sprinting for the finish you are not allowed to deviate from your line significantly. It does not state that a lead out man , who does not have any intention to finish the sprint cant leave the peloton to the side after he is done
@@lordad he's talking about the winner's trajectory not MVDP's one
You need new glasses because you saw a ghostrider against the wall. And look it up from the air it was a clean ride from MVDP .

Mvdp ❤
they let him win otherwise he'll continue boxing till tdf's end
Finally its over! Finally Alpecin won!
Big question will there be any sprinters
Left besides Girmay in the last weekend?!!😜🔝
Applauds for Bini , 🎉🎉
1st Sprint he rides 75.6 km/hr
2nd sprint he rides 71.7 km/hr
He is the FASTEST & sprints longest❤
What a speed!! This men are crazy!! 65!? I never go more then 45 in road and downhill 75. Respect. Go our Slovenians 💪🇸🇮
Wawwww imagine bine if he got team Leeds out ❤❤
Bin🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷✊✊✊
Philipsen is DIRTY rider!
I’ve seen the previous sprint on stage 10. He almost threw Bini to the barriers as he was about to pass him.
Thank God he didn’t kill anyone today to win the stage .
Totally agree. I'm bummed he even won a stage this year. I'm happy he got recognized for his dirty riding and got relegated in prior stage.
Eur media team are cretins, love the hashtag of the winners name right at the top, you guys love the suspense eh hahaha
well done Bini proud to be eritrean and african
Good job, biniam girmay
This is what happens when Girmay is not first of the pack. He loses pretty badly.
Applauds for Bini , 🎉🎉
1st Sprint he rides 75.6 km/hr
2nd sprint he rides 71.7 km/hr
He is the FASTEST & sprints longest❤
He's obviously very good, but Philipsen crushed everyone here. Not even close. Last time Bini beat him it went uphill and Philipsen had peaked too early. Timing, flair and even some luck matter.
@@MVProfitscome on let’s be honest today he win cuz of good led out bini was doing all work by himself credit goes to bini
@@yonasjrkilla7597all that proves is you are a Bini fan, not a cycling fan.
This has been such a boring first portion of the TDF with so many flat sprint finishes.
When discussing the truth, it's important to highlight that Philippe's actions in the intermediate sprint were dangerous. He closed in on Biniam and didn't sprint in a straight line. His sprints often appear emotional and erratic. While I don't want to blame him personally, this kind of behavior is hazardous in racing and can lead to severe accidents, not just crashes.
It's concerning that commentators did not address this issue, not even in Biniam's interview. This oversight is unfair. Sports analysts have a responsibility to ensure the safety of all riders. Negligent actions should be called out to prevent potential injuries. Ensuring fair and safe racing conditions should be a priority for everyone involved in the sport
Commentators and journalists wants a big crash in a sprint?? Oooooohhhh, the headlines!! The interviews!!!!! Rgr
But he didn’t try to cut anyone off. .. A rarity but nice to see 👍
Bini good boy❤
Sprinter stages are boring...
The finishes are great. They need to find a way, somehow, to make it more entertaining prior. IDK personally how, but I'm sure there are great ideas out there.
Bini is stronger from the sprinters ❤
Bini Eritrean🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Philipes blocked biniam . Why he does that all the time 😏
How do you get there? Look back at the footage and you will see that it is not so.
f phillipsen
Jasper once again cut in front of his competitors, not riding in a straight line...
God what a boring stage can’t wait for the road to get lumpy
Tomorrow.........................
And he didn't have to push anyone against the barriers or deviate from his lane. Still hate him.
Hate? Hahaha grow up ffs
@@Mockle07 Most people hate him too. He isn't a well liked rider for the crap he pulls. MVP is a much better all around rider but gets relegated to his lead out man.
@@Joshua-dx7zn as he should, in this situation. It’s not a popularity contest. MVDP is my favourite rider, but he’s not going to be winning many sprint stages even if Jasper was not there.
So let me try to undestand this they spend hours and hours just to have an couple of hundren metres sprint to find a winner ?,
Bini🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷
How many BS sprint stages in a row... the day after an off day? Begin the tour in mountains 2 out of 4 days and then go days of sprint stages. What? Are they asking for GC guys to get hurt and ruin the entire Tour. Were they drunk when they planned the TdF a year ago?
Bini 🇪🇷🇪🇷🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

the most boring tour in recent years, very poor choice of flat stages.
Russian teams are banned from international events so how is it that an Israeli team is allowed in?
Bini is the best sprinter ever even though he came out second today. 🎉🇪🇷🎉
Fking boooring!!!
No criticism for Ghirmay barging Bennett off the wheel?
Too busy looking for reasons to whine about Philipsen I guess.
JP still doesn't know how to stay in his lane. Dirtiest sprinter ever.
👎👎👎👎
These stages must be shortened to 50 km, no point in watching hour after hour of absolute nothingness.
Make them 50 km, sprint from the start, whoever wins wins, everyone else gets more rest for the next day.
Clueless
Try watching crit races instead of tour races then
@@charliedillon1400 help me, what interesting did you see this stage? What did I miss?
why post such stupidity? go watch track cycling
Kind of a perfect storm for this to happen with a mountain stage tomorrow. Sprinter's team are always going to control it so unless a team of no-hopers go up the road for the publicity, who is going to want to waste energy?
Stupid title today. no one likes Philipsen
Shame the cheater got one
