Shouldn’t it I my be the white label minus the black where it grabs the ink from? Maybe I damaged the cart lol but my initial problem was that it just wasn’t printing at all! Mine has a rechargeable battery! It has been fantastic! My battery lasts a very long time. I do turn off the label maker in between making labels. I use it quite a bit and I think I have only recharged the battery two or three times over a six-month period.

It will only print on D1 label, and they would probably not attach very well to shrink tubing. You could attach it sideway as a ´flag´, but it is not a very good solution.
I have a 160, great little machine. DYMO really should include some bloody instructions though ! I'm supposed to have different fonts on the machine ? I can't find where though.
This is misleading. My new unit model '160' does not come with rechargeable batteries or any other sort. You do not say what model no. this review is about. The performance with standard batteries with the 160 is awful, about 2 labels then kaput. I found an old 9v transformer that works with it so I use that.

Can you show whether or not you can change the margin sizes?

Can you type on more than one line? If you used a smaller font?
I have the same label maker but I’m only getting font sizes 8, 10, and 12. How did you get the other sizes??

It depends on the length of the text. (Or the maximum length the machine will allow, maybe 256 characters but possibly many more)
Did it come with at least 1 tape role or you have to purchase that to even begin printing?
Mohammad Khan mine has a free 1/2 black on white tape.
I bought a kit with a bag and 2 tape roles, black on white and black on see-thru.
