Why the hell did you switch out your corsola against the beautifly? You had an omniboost and your acientpower was 4x super effective stab ofc!

Beginner‘s mistake, been there, done that: You do not want to keep a Pokémon that’s 4x weak against Grass in against a Beautifly. Beautifly has decent Special Attack and Speed and is *notorious* for carrying powerful Grass-type moves that can take them out in one shot. Even with a +1 in Speed, Corsola would have had trouble outspeeding it and if Beautifly moves first with a Giga Drain or Energy Ball, it’s lights out for Corsola, not even a +1 in Special Defense would save it there. That’s why he swapped into Ledian, a special Grass-type move would have done nothing to it. He also was able to harness the Regenerator heal on Corsola on the swap and use Ledian‘s super effective Ice Punch against it. It was a smart move. Now this particular one only had Shadow Ball which Corsola could have tanked, so he overpredicted there, causing this swap was likely the opponent‘s Plan even though they were 100% bluffing.

For 'worst pokemon of gen 2', I'd have to go for Quilfish. While not the most underwhelming in stats or movepool or anything like that, Quilfish is just 'yet another generic fish pokemon' that doesn't even evolve and is generally considered one of the most commonly forgotten about of the entire series. At least things like Unown, Corsola, and Delibird are memorably terrible, that gives them something.

Unown for obvious reasons. Wobbuffet was walled by Dark and Ghost types using STAB on it back in Gen 2 and could be decently outplayed with Metronome. Shuckle had little going for it compared to the fun tools it has now. Sneasle was good, but both of its STAB were special and it had TERRIBLE Sp.Atk and not many good non STAB physical attacks, like how Gengar had good non STAB special attacks. Murkrow also wasn't that great until it got things like Evolite and Prankster. Delibird was awful despite having a physical AND special STAB to work with, and Present was a fun but bad move. Dunsparce was... ok, though not nearly as good as the threat it is now. Corsola was also all-around awful, though it I guess did have some uses akin to Wobbuffet, but more options on top of it.
Also Skarmoy was just the worst one of all...

Worst Gen 2 Pokemon in terms of battle? Unknown. No contest.
Worst in terms of design? Probably Cleffa/Igglybuff. (Honorable mention goes to Magby for having a tumor-riddled or tit/butt covered head.
Worst in terms of being most hated by me? Aipom. Ugly face, ugly hand-tail thing, one of the blandest and unspectacular level-up move pools ever, and equally ugly later generation evolution, just plain bad.
I didn't even *think* about Corsola. Okay stats, access to Recover which still had 20 pp back then, Mirror Coat and Focus Band (Since the guaranteed sash didn't exist back then) as a last resort for grass types, and multiple stab moves to choose from including the potentially game-changing stat boost from Ancient Power? Corsola wasn't top tier, but it was *far* from being one of the *worst.*
Forretress, Yanma, and Wobbuffet were *WAY* worse. Forretress was painfully slow, had a lackluster move pool, and could be instantly *obliterated* with just about any halfway decent fire attack. Yanma was also quad-weak, albeit to the less accurate rock-type moves, had nothing short of an *abysmal* move pool and stats, no evolution, *and* lacked either of the abilities that made it at least *somewhat* usable. And Wobbuffet? I mean... really, *Wobbuffet?!?* No ability means no Shadow Tag keeping mons in, so no trapping something whose move pool you scoped out. So it's *already* dead in the water. But then factor in its atrocious speed which keeps it from using Safeguard to block against Toxic. Then factor in that this is also before Wynaut, so no Charm or more importantly, Encore. Oh, and then there's the fact that it could be literally *impossible* for it to inflict damage if it went up against a Ghost-type using physical attacks, or a Dark-type using special attacks because Counter and Mirror Coat are Fighting and Psychic attacks respectively.

When I saw “PurpleNurple” as the Pokémon’s nickname I thought it was a bear-inspired Pokemon like Bewear, Beartik or Ursaring just because of part 1 of the Total Drama Island finale where Owen’s tasked with giving a “Purple Nurple” (nipple pinch) to a sleeping bear. And instead it’s a shiny Beautifly!

Its 35 base attack, 55 base HP, 55 special attack, useless ability, weakness to stealth rock and no niches whatsoever since gen 2 means nothing.

Worst gen 3 Pokémon team
When I used to run the Pokemon Games on Gameboy and Gameboy Advance, my strategy was to Catch and Main the Rarest 1-2 Pokemon with the highest Potential Power that I could find early game. But as the years went on, I realized that the game was way too easy playing this way. And so I started to use a different approach: Find and Catch 7 of the Weakest Pokemon I could find early game and try and develop them as equal as possible; And I found it was much more enjoyable this way! 😆
Note: These were the days before I had ever heard of special "Challenge Modes" and Nuzlockes.

See I am not that well versed in Generation 2, so the only thing for sure I know will be there is Unkown. Generation 3 is my home and always will be
Unown is hands down the worst pokemon of all time not just gen 2.
Following that, corsolla was trash, azurill, pichu (really all the baby mons) pineco and most of the bug mons) and shuckle. Although I used shuckle just to troll. I ran toxic curse wrap and sandstorm on it and loved trolling people.
Oh forgot about Delibird. Yeah delibird is so bad I forgot all about that useless present throwing bird. Til after I watched the video.

Worst gen 2 pokes? It would be jumpluff, sunflora, unown, corsola, delibird and ledian. Not including preevolutions
I would also like to suggest a theme team: full belly drum team. Go with 6 pokemon knowing belly drum :)

Welll, considering only the final form pokemon and trying not to repeat types: Ledian, Sunflora, Unown, Delibird, Stantler and Ariados (I said try, but both bugs sucks, man)
Do a team where you can only damage/faint your opponent using their own attacks: mirror move, mirror coat, counter, destiny bond... Confusion, poison, burn, leech seed, nightmare, curse, climate change, forcing to struggle or any other kind of indirect damage moves are not allowed. Abilities like rough skin, poison point, flame body or magic bounce are allowed. Moves which change statuses and forces the enemy to attack are also allowed
In the first fight why did you swap corsola for ledian? Man,you had ancient powerem boosts and with ancient powerem itself you were 4x effective vs beautifly. I'm confused af.
