Found it very interesting. I did not make the woven piece as you did. I liked watching and learning how you contemplated the drape. I like the details you offer when describing your proposed drape. I wanted to see something more dramatic with such an exciting looking fused piece and wondered it perhaps it was draped over a more higher narrow cylinder object would it made a unique art piece. Or perhaps watch the edges flatten a bit more on the sides. Thank you always enjoy your videos. It is clear information. I love the kiln knowledge you share as well.
Hi Emma. With draping like that you will need to check the kiln to see where it's at. It's too variable to rely on any timing. Just make sure to wear the correct type of glasses. You'll notice I was wearing IR safety glass and long thick gloves. Wearing my heavy apron etc would have been smart, but I forgot didn't I. Silly old fool. Just make sure you have all the safety gear, and use it, not like me. 🙄
Nice video, thanks for sharing. Glass weaving is one of those projects that I'm less likely to try, but you did a great job on this piece. It was nice how your risky, but carefully calculated slump idea worked out.
I would love to see a video on how you make the former!
I love the weave colors!
Than k you. I'll see try to do one.
I would too!
Good grief! I'm always talking about proofreading and look what I posted. I meant "Thank you. I'll try to do one." 😁
You are FAB…no worries!
Be well…
Just shared this to digital resource fusing group on FB… you are a member & should post your videos there!
I know. I'm a bit slack but yesterday I did post to a number of relevant groups. I hope they find them interesting.

Always a pleasure to share.
Thanks for showing looking in the kiln at top temperature, doing that is putting me off draping so far!

Thanks Jonathan.
Thanks!
Thanks Stephen. Your support is really appreciated.
That is so very cool!! Congrats!
Hi Debbie. Thank you. Glad you liked it.
Great idea Jeff. If you evened out the edge of one of the long sides it might stand up on it's own and make a nice display.
Great idea. Here that everyone. I great idea to make something stand. Not just woven, but any suitable piece. Thanks Stephen.
