I don´t think Shaun Cassidy was that popular in Europe in the 70ies. Never heard him sing before. There were no teen idols in my youth yet, if you don´t count the Beatles into that cathegory, that is. Andy was so much more than that. Still listening to his songs every day, the immensely talented, beautiful and unique Andy Gibb stays with me like no other artist ever did.
Actually Shaun had hit records in Germany,Spain, the Netherlands & Australia! He performed on many European tv shows & touring over there. He one many Bravo Magazine awards and performed at a Bravo concert.
@@brianmuratori3206 Thank you Brian for explaining this. In Sweden Shaun might have been popular among teenagers too in the end 70ies, but I was no more a teenager then, and I listened mostly to soul music and of course to the Beegee´s and Andy.
Andy definitely has the most distinctive voice.
They are both great singers and this song is so beautiful I just love it but shaun Cassidy is the number once singer

I also might A add that Solid Gold was AndyGibb hosting gibb for ca year I am disappointed that Marilyn even enjoyed singing with Shaun 3
Shaun cannot compare to Andy.
Andy clearly had the better voice.
A matter of opinion, they both actually have incredible voices
Andy has the most beautiful voice and he is the most handsome. I don't like this Shaun Cassidy.
