Great to see you and hear your pearls of wisdom again Chris even if not in person, its been too long. Hope you had a great festive season and look forward to a successful 2024.
Awesome video mate, fantastic to see this beautiful forest featured here on YT. Great tips about exploring parts of a location that are not so well known and also looking behind you. You’ve got me inspired to head down that way again. Loved the images, thanks for sharing the video! 👍
Grace Road is interesting. I was down at Cosy Corner a few weeks ago. Found my first ever Peacock Spider. There's some boronia there too. I discovered what I thought was Boranup Lookout is actually Boranup Forest Viewpoint. I think it was my next trip after I showed you that cloud and some ICM photos.
Thanks Christian for a fantastic tutorial on "How I got the shot." I very much enjoy these micro workshops and seeing the thought processes that go into setting up the image. Keep safe...
Talking us through the process was really helpful, thanks for sharing your experience with us. Great to see the Landscape Photographers black puffy jacket being worn proudly too Christian.
Glad or hear you get Boranup right, annoys m when people weight the first syllable. I learned to swim at Flinders Bay and Hamelin Bay. I used to fish off that jetty.
Nice work mate I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts as you took us through your process. I can’t believe you used to parasail! Much safer in Lycra on the bitumen… maybe.
You’re a natural mate… bosh! Lovely area, and wish I had made it down that far from my old Freo days…. Your work always inspires me to be a better photographer, and now we can all watch you taking these amazing shots too. I’ve learned so much from photographers and filmmakers on TH-cam and Vimeo these past few years. It’s an incredible method of sharing the journey, giving an inside view of a technique, a process etc, and just bringing your audience into your world. Yes they can be a bit ‘what’s in my bag’ (your lil section was great btw!), or ‘this video is brought to you today, by squarespace’ and we all know and appreciate why youtubers have to take these paths…. Looking forward to your next journey, and thanks again for bringing us along for the ride. Love the Dunsborough plates BTW… and was that Mr Stothard you were referring to?
That was such a fortuitous decision, given what happened in the fires. You have something very precious. And great to watch.
Thank you so much CF, watching this fills me with so much motivation to get out there. I'm very grateful to you for that...
Thanks Ric, very kind words. Hope you do get out there soon and continue making the brilliant work you do.
Love that area, spent many happy family holidays at Hamelin as well. Hope your Mum liked her forest image

Thanks Pete, all the best for the new year too. Cheers

You're too kind Andrew, not up to your standards but I had fun putting it together. Cheers mate
Thanks Christian loved this video too. Looking forward to the next one
Just uploaded a new one. Sound is a bit dodgy with the wind but you get the general idea! Thanks Michelle
Great video, thanks for sharing some of your thoughts and ideas on photography.
My pleasure! thanks mate.

Enjoyed the video! Well done. Loved the addition of the music as well. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it! Cheers Al.
Was there last week, similar conditions but very excited to find a cluster of Peacock Spiders at the beach at Hamelin.

My pleasure Andrew!
That old jacket has lasted so well and is my go to for cold mornings! Not so good on the mic with the scratchy noises.
Beautiful XX
The forest isn't too bad either Jo!

Back in the day hey mate!

Thanks Jason and yeah we had fun paragliding. Safer than riding on the roads I think!!
❤

I enjoy watching photographers videos on TH-cam too. Thanks for the kind words Liam and yes it was Markie Mark Stothard who was with me.
Did Michael video Jo Quail?
Nice video Christian! what cameras are you using for your videos?
Just the DJI Pocket 2 mate.
@@christianfletcher7874 nice mate, does a great job. I was thinking it was your phone or another camera on a gimbal.
