As with all my product reviews this was not a paid promotional video and I also have no affiliate with the company. However they are providing $30 off at checkout using this link joinfitapp.com/r/hybrid
What I really like about your channel is that I'm getting exposure to products I would never see. It's really helpful for somebody like me whose in the process of building out my home gym.
Thanks brother. That's what I'm trying to do for sure. I love the big garage gym review stuff as well, but I feel that stuff is pretty much covered by other channels. Want to show you guys some other stuff that doesn't get as much attention and what I think is personally fun as well.
Wow this looks fantastic. Never knew something like this that can go so compact. I spend a lot of time travelling in my van in the middle of nowhere and without gyms, so this plus something like a Beyond Power Voltra could give me a full gym in a super compact form factor Thanks as always for showing!
This is something I've been looking for to finish up my home gym! I think with dumbbells, band/board/bar, wahoo kikr rollr, and this I would be able to do everything I need. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
Great review Mike as always. If you want something that is a stationary body weight trainer, Matt reviewed one called the Dash Home Gym. Price point is about a $100.00 but it is rock solid and also made in the U.S.A.
thats too cool, portable for people with limited space appartment living, travel perfect for weighted movements and bands, nice compact piece of equipment, appreciate u mike👍
Hi Hybrid Resistance, I really like the portable gym. It looks like something you would see in the park with different components in one station and you're right, it is small hopefully; they will create a larger size. I'm guessing they're trying to keep costs down on it. The only problem with a lot of these products is having space for it, where to put it and do you have enough room for it. The price isn't bad, you can spend more money on the cost of going to the gym for over a year. You just lose out on the social aspect of being in a gym, the motivational factor.
I think it's a pretty good product even if on the bulky side. I mean...you get chin ups, pull-ups, dips, rows, pushups, and whatever else you can creatively think of. Then again, you can only get out of it what you put into it like any other piece of equipment. I think I'd buy it if I didn't already have a pull-up bar and a way to do dips. Looks solid to me.....even if a lot overpriced.
Pretty much nailed it right there. I don't know how many people would actually do this, but I often times will pack up fitness toys and bring it to park and just workout while playing with my kids. Something like this is cool as it can be set up in less than 60sec. Makes it much easier if you got a truck as well.
I have one concern, I feel that for the price you would think that they would offer a padded bar like most free standing pull and dip stations include.
Personally I think it’s cool and versatile. I have rings and a weight vest and kettlebells. I can put this together on my lunch break at work and get a nice workout in. I’d like to see the price come down about $100 though lol.
Its really cool but that price is steep. I got the lebert equalizer xxl edition and an iron gym pull up bar(which i put of the floor and use for pushups too) for about $160.
this looks cool, not something i’d buy but i’d probably recommend this to more people than most other home gym equipment. if youre not into “bodybuilding” this looks fantastic unrelated, but i bet this wouldnt be hard to make using stuff from hope depot
Any setups similar to this that's compatible and not as expensive already? I felt like after doing a search, google image search, multiple platforms online and I still can't find something that compares to this truly which is somewhat wild to think its not more of a thing already out there. Unless my searches algorithms not showing me 😂
I hear you, but I can't find anything either. When I first saw this over a year ago, I figured I'd find a cheaper alternative soon, but that never happened. For what it does and the quality, it is very good.
It's definitely more of a luxury item considering the accessibility of bodyweight exercises. But I can see it being useful for people looking for a portable station.
I also almost impulsed purchased that Aldi pull up bar giving how cheap it was. How do you like it? Loved how you mentioned hybrid calisthenics. I just discovered him when switched my name and was looking who else was using it. Awesome guy for sure.
@@hybridresistance We actually like the pull up bar. Kind of bought it on a whim. I had been wanting a pull up bar for a while and we are very limited on space with 4 kids. I do assisted pull ups with it using the serious steel bands and the kids enjoy doing it too.
If I was going to spend that much for something that takes up that space I’m going with the sledtred from tibbar guy and will be able to do 3 times the exercises. Yes it’s double but when you can do sleding, treadmill, incline running, hip thrust, bulgarian split squats, nordics, step ups, pull ups, knees over toes steps, etc… yeah this has zero appeal to me. I love your channel, not a fan of this product lol.
Too gimmicky, you just need rope and find a place to loop from and your pull-ups are done. Similarly with dips. No way this gimmick is worth $400 let alone a patent

I've tried to reach them. The number on their website goes to a doctor's office. No return of emails.

Exactly!
It is an interesting product, but man that price is no joke.
That for sure is going to be the main deterrent for most people.

No problem, thanks for watching.

That's awesome, thanks for sharing that. The "Red Delta" is always finding great stuff.
That would be awesome for the back yard or porch! Great channel Mike!
Thanks Jay.
Very cool concept. Im interested to see how well it holds up.

Seems like the main advantage over a typical cheap power tower is that you can easily break this thing down and transport it.

I had seen one in FMP a few months back but did not need but it looks cool.
What’s the length between the parallel bars for dips and do you feel like it’s wide enough?
Personally I think it’s cool and versatile. I have rings and a weight vest and kettlebells. I can put this together on my lunch break at work and get a nice workout in. I’d like to see the price come down about $100 though lol.
🌺 Good review. I really want to see someone use adjustable
Calisthenics Rings on this unit 🙏🏻🤷♀️

Have you ever tried the Bayou Fitness Total Trainer? It seems better than the Total Gym to me

I have one, I love it.
How long did it take to ship? Where to you have it sent from?
I can't really remember, but I feel like it didn't take long.
How tall are you, im 6'2 in height with long wingspan. Will my knees touch the platdorm
I'm 6". If your knees are bent, I think you'd be good. I can't say for sure based on your wingspan though.
I am 6'3", so I feel this will have limited use for me. Plus, at $400, there are other options out there that will get the job done cheaper.
All you need is a pullup bar that latches onto your door and gymnastics rings to hang for dips
This is what I have. I think we bought the pull up bar for door at Aldi for $15 and then got wood rings for it from hybrid calisthenics.
It's definitely more of a luxury item considering the accessibility of bodyweight exercises. But I can see it being useful for people looking for a portable station.

Isnt' it too heavy to move around to the park?
It's actually not bad at weight wise. From car to set can take less than 5min.
Great, thanks

Over priced and unfortunately i had a bad experience with this company on a different product. Left a bad taste in my mouth.
Thanks for the comment and sharing that.
Overpriced piece of metal lol
They are tossing these out to several TH-camrs. It is very meh.
I have no doubt. I actually reached out to them for this one.
