I'm constantly amazed at you young fella, how hands on and proactive you are. You're a shinning example for everyone to just go for it, get stuck in, and to buggery with the procrastination. I watched my first video today on 4/30/23, starting with you buying your first house. I actually did cross my fingers,hoping you got the house. I cried. Then I watched your dedication to Lee, I cried harder😢😢. Then your q&a. I have nothing but triple mad respect for you and your family. Australia has always been on my bucket list since the 80s behind England, France, Italy, and Spain. I've made it to the first . I'm turning 60 in October, so Spain is my present to myself. We painted our Coaster with it Jan 2022 and it's been a talking point at every spot we stop long enough for people to approach us! We love it AND we chose a green tint for a camo look too, so nice to park up and blend in a little 😎
How many litres of raptor does a coaster take to fully paint I've got 12lt do I need more ?
@@karenkealey6345 ooft, i know we started with 2 boxes, with 4 in each and bought some more as we added coats. Without pulling out the records I'd say, you are pretty much bang on with 12 ltr. You'll have a little leftover but we found heaps of uses for our leftovers 😂

The van looks GREAT!!! No pun intended, but it looks a little more MAD MAX than before. I love the texture paint. There was a UniMog here last Summer and Fall that had the same or similar kind of paint on it. The really cool thing that the owner did was paint a jungle scape over top of it. It looked bloody amazing. At first I thought the jungle scape was a wrap, but getting up close to it I could tell it wasn't at all a wrap, that it was actually painted. And whoever did the painting did an incredibly realistic job of it. It truly looked like real jungle. So much so that if you were to park the van in the thick of a jungle, you truly wouldn't know that the van was 6 feet in front of you. Part of how it was so realistic was that there were different kinds of paint used, being glossy, semi glossy, and flat. The upfront plants were all in glossy and semi glossy, the 2nd layer was mostly semi glossy and flat, and the 3rd layer, which was what you would see as the fuzzy background that has no definition was done in flat, but even the flat paint work, some of it had sharp edges that gave the painting texture in some areas, but it was also sprayed out to a hazy wash. The whole paintwork was incredible well done and incredibly well thought out. Every fricken detail was imitated as far as the visual effect of the whole painting, it was truly incredible.
When I saw you painting the Raptor paint on it, what it was. I was thinking "NO WAYYYYYYYYYY, Max is going to get a similar kind of jungle paint job.
Seriously, if you had of gotten a paint job like that...even you wouldn't be able to differentiate the van from the background scene of the new property. It truly would blend in that well.
What was even more crazy. The UniMog was parked on the side of the street and I literally felt like I was back in the jungles of South America standing there looking at it. It really was that well done.

Every new Max & Occy video makes me so happy I could cry, and I usually do. These are so nourishing for the soul, I actually organize my time around making sure I don’t miss them. I was watching an interview with crystal expert Wolfgang Hahl from Germany he was talking about trees and their sentience when I had to think about your Fig tree. When I first watched your video where you showed your gigantic Fig tree I felt an energy coming from the tree that said "I have seen horrific things and I was not treated well I have witnessed cussing and shouting and much suffering". I am so glad that you and Occy are there now to give good energy to the Fig tree and to all beings. Spend much time with the Fig tree every day and also bring him a heart shaped rock if you find one. Then the tree and the whole property can begin the healing path.

I don’t know why people think Max’s life has been rough. He did lose someone in a very sad way. Who hasn’t. But he’s gotten to travel, surf, swim, make new friends 9/7. What a way to go through the grieving process. He’s talented, good looking and personable. He’s also got plenty of support. TH-cam is this new marketing venue that has allowed people to make money as “influencers.” Good for him. Seems like a good guy

It's been freezing in Melbourne the last 2 nights. The days are still reasonable ~ 18C today, but you look like yr country so raise that chill factor!
