I found Sadhguru 2020, after my daughter died 6 weeks after she was born. He saved my live, I did inner engineering and still do it today. I saw a lot of him but this is really one of the best interviews I have ever seen. Joe really got him to open up and Sadhguru was willing to go there. A really great podcast, thank you. Hundreds of free yoga programmes in rural India and so much more. It breaks my heart that even such a person gets hate just for no reason 😢.

First time I saw Sadhguru I was instantly intrigued, his calm, his aura, his laugh, such a joyful blissful belly laugh. Love it !!
His words sung truth. But I have just found a slight unfairness, it took Sadhguru 12 years to start the work of looking within, wouldn’t have been the smoothest of journeys, bless.
. He was very lucky to have had parents that did not take him to the doctors and have medication pushed on him, no law knocking on the door asking why he is not at school. And not till he was 25 did her start his mission, or he wanted to succeed his movement at 25 🤦🏻‍♀️don’t quote me. Very thankful this was his story as we wouldn’t have met the Sadhguru we see today. Yes he is now teaching a new beautiful way of being. But it’s not easy switching our 12, 20, 40, 46 years of conditioning, brainwashing education off like a lamp. Not to mention ancestral dna still with us. The poor man would at times get frustrated like teeny tiny tit bit , who could blame him, how many times has he told the world, I don’t think we humans love our misery, it’s a little more complex and slightly out of our hands as we’ve been slaves to the dollar, our parents, the government our emotions. So some peoples path is embedded and deep. We’re bogged so It’s a hard track just drive out of.
I would like to ask Sadhguru what does he think of all the people selling their course or sessions on healing childhood trauma. Can we side step this ? Or we do the work but can they do it quicker. Love ya work, Sadhguru, I wish you had completed your mission, to live your life now with a little less humanity service. Living in the mountains knowing the soil will be ok. 🤎🕉️🌱

I did Inner Engineering online and then did the completion course in person. Back when I did it the whole program wasn't online, now it is but in person seems better. Then I went to his Ashram near Nashville several times for different programs, 2 he personally led. I now do several traditional yoga practices and a few different mediations. The energy in his presence is undescribable; intense and beautiful. The space is also very charged.
These days I have moments of peace and occasionally even bliss for no reason. My temper and anger which was quite prevalent seems non existant. I don't have fearful thoughts anymore. Overall a deep-seated sense of wellbeing and surrender is my usual state. This is a massive deprature from how I used to be. The practices he offers really work! I have met dozens of people who do yoga and meditations his organization offers and they are fundamentally more peacful, empathetic and grounded people.

Doing that twice every day gives me a high that's so much more euphoric than any drug (and I've done them all) without any comedowns, lethargy or other negative side affects. I've also felt my intelligence, clarity, memory and physical fitness increase tenfold. I used to have constant brain fog and would struggle to remember what I had for breakfast but now my mind is laser sharp and my body supple and strong. I've suffered from physical and mental health problems for most of my life and they're all gone. I would never trade this new found peace and ease its given me for any substance ever again. A really transformative experience for me. For example, i was able to leave 10 years of alcohol drinking in just 2 days of the meditation.

Joe, I don't know why Guru never said this, but sometimes it takes horrible tragedy and shitty experiences to finally reach higher consciousness. I am 33 years old and just got out of homelessness, But let me tell you, I experienced gods love when I was going through a relationship break down. When You feel entirely alone, like there is no one there for you. Once you are totally alone with yourself and experiencing a horrible tragedy, is when the universe comforts you. Its an overwhelming feeling of peace and love and i think you have to feel like you are completely alone is when you will experience it.. I think guru couldnt answer your question directly is because there is not really an answer. You can ask the universe in your own quiet time to help your mind open to it, but i know for me. I had to lose everything i had in my life including a decade long relationship and start from nothing again. But it was not difficult to start over. because once you know there is something with you at all times, you realise and start noticing that you have everything you need as soon as you need it.

No such thing as accidents or coincidences. I met a man a couple of years ago that grew up in a farming family. It was his whole childhood. He is sought for his ability to grow amazing crops. He told me he doesn't grow crops, he builds soil. He said that if you grow rye, b/c the roots grow deep and pull up the nutrients, vitamins and minerals from deeper up to the shorter roots of the crop, you will get a good yield. When the soil is completely depleted you need to grow rye for three years to get good soil. At the end of each year you cut the rye and leave it to go back into the ground. No plowing. He said plowing is bad, use your finger, or a long stick. Put the seed, add some water, cover with soil and let grow. There is also a group of people who've created a way to speed up the organic materials process in weeks instead of years. They made a movie about it. After the movie came out someone set the building on fire...they rebuilt.

I like a lot of what Sad has to say. I’m very aware and passionate about saving our soils. If they die, we all die.
And we are killing our soils.
Bravo Sad for bringing attention to such an important and often overlooked part of the tapestry of things we need to work on fixing. All life depends on health of our soils.
I am surprised and a bit disappointed that Sad never read the Vedas or the Baganda Gita or the Yoga Sutras of Patangali. These are pillars of yogic philosophy. I wish he could speak to some of those texts and the wisdom they hold when JR asked him about “ancient texts”
