TheRustyCracker I know I cant buy a car yet,but I love when you go around the car, start it up,and talk about it.Feels so calming.....and im surprised a car like this is cheap. And whats best of all? Pretty much everything looks new!
Man my car is exactly like yours except its an automatic 4 speed and the GS model, but I absolutely love mine non the less. Like it even has 103,000 miles lol. How much did you pay for the car?
Hi In case you're wondering i couldn't send you a message but gotta say love your Videos big fan! Anyway i make compilation videos where i take clips from other videos add some information and then play music over them. I was just wondering if i could have your permission to use 15 seconds max of this video. Obviously the link will; be in the description and all credit will be rewarded to you. Thank you for your time and i'm hoping to hear from you
Still driving my 2006 V-6 GT manual with almost 170k miles on it. Bought it new and it is my daily driver. Have had to fix a few minor oil leaks and the dash cover has a problem but runs like new. Solid engine and transmission.
@@loukat3559 Yes but you do have to do maintenance on them. The V-6 is an interference engine with a timing belt that has to be changed every 60k miles. If not changed it will break causing the pistons to strike the valves destroying the engine. Changing the timing belt costs about $1200 at pre Covid prices. On the flip side it is not a direct injection engine which means that you do not have to deal with carbon build up like most original DI engines. Most new card today with DI use dual injection which solves that problem. As this is a fairly high powered car expect to spend money on tires also. About $600 every 30k miles for Kumos. I didn't realize the original poster was only asking 5k for his in 2016. Had I known that I would have bought it from him even though I have one exactly like it. I would not trust that the belt had been replaced and would have done that first thing.
@@loukat3559 One last thing I should have mentioned. The mirrors suck. Go down to the auto supply store and buy one of the very wide clip on rear view mirrors. It's like the difference between night and day. Until then, do not try to merge right. Sorry I forgot to mention that. If anyone else has done this please share your experience so that all will know how big of a difference it makes. Tell us about the car you bought. I did replace the clutch on mine at 150k not because of symptoms but because of how hard I drove it. Turned out that the flywheel was gone also.
Question to anyone who owns them. Are they reliable the 3.8 v6 models geared to a 6 speed? I want to get a v6 with standard and i dont want a tl or accord. Just worried about it being shit. Engine.
Jumbie my engines been good, I bought mine for 1.7k but it had a bad gas fuel pump and I changed the timing belt just to be safe. No issues at all with the engine, bout to reach 200k and the only thing I need to replace soon is the clutch
