Yes, i also think that the series should have been ended with the episode “Scent of Roses”. That could be a great ending for a great tv show. But even it was not a very good episode; voo doo knight had also some good scenes like this one. And if Knight Rider continued, i think over time it would look more like Miami Vice.
If I’m not mistaken scent of roses was intended to, and if I remember correctly, was the last episode filmed. But in those days of stand alone story arcs, network would often shuffle the broadcast order. Likely they felt it was better to run stronger episodes during sweeps and burn off the weaker ones in late March early April.

While this episode has had its poor reviews, I do like how Michael initially feels responsible for spooking the guy into jumping out the window.

I also enjoyed his fierce grunts and facial expressions when he made a move on a enemy to fight them or deflect their strike haha

Last Knight Rider: TOS episode (Aired April 4,1986). It later came out that Scent of Roses (Aired January 3,1986) supposed to be the TOS finale.
