"So why isn't Apollo Justice in this trailer, Capcom?"
"Who?"
aCormick Objection!
Your claim clearly contradicts the scene at 1:46 at the up center dialogue!
@@Just-View it would have been cooler if you said take that or Gotcha or OBJEKTION
@@codetron1.1 what? He already said that
@@zidaneprastiyo2135 ups didnt saw that🤣
Aged like milk
Capcom probably hid Apollo from the trailer so they could get any fans who didn't like Apollo to buy the game and then realise that he was in it.
Ah, so Phoenix finally has his own phrase to accompany "Gotcha!" and "Eureka!".
Since it's now M18 the only people who can actually play are:
The Judge
Miles
Blackquill
Ted Tonate
And
Phoenix wright
Not even Apollo can play this.
apollo is 21
No, I'm saying about their age as in 2013 when the game is released. Right now Apollo is probably just learning how to multiply fractions in elementary school. (He was born around 2006 I think)
Don't forget about Payne. :P
BaronPAWNCH not even Athena. (She’s a fuckin main character for crying out loud
@@beelim7247 Apollo is born in 2003-04
1:45 If you're thinking Apollo isn't in the trailer, look again in this particular frame. :P
Nicely hid
OMG... Here comes Justice!!!

hes chilling at the top
DAT PATHETIC FEELING WHEN YOU DIDN'T KNOW THE GAME WAS A DOWNLOADABLE AND THERES NO PHYSICAL COPY
AND IT'S M SO I CAN'T PLAY IT DESPITE BEING 15
ShonenJump121 Dude! I had to freaking start a new NIntendo Network Account just because of that! But that's ok with me, I spent like 100$ in a course of 3 years...
I think I might able to somehow
Get it for ios it's better

Wrong.
Capcom, you give me PC Version, I give you money.
Excuse me? I'm allergic to bullshit. www.sourcenext.com/products/capcom/gyakuten.html
The PC version exists, but in Japanese only...
GastonAsston Holy SHIT.
I had no idea....
Toastaddiction Nice Karl avatar from Law of Talos.
GastonAsston You are probably the only person I know who mentioned Law of Talos in an unrelated video.

It's ok, it happens. People have a false vendor association with a brand and when in reality, they're just the middle man and nothing more. It's happened for years with Megaman and Castlevaina and it blew the minds of Megaman and Castlevaina fans when it was on non-nintendo consoles and the same thing happened with Metal Gear and Final Fantasy, it blew the minds of Metal Gear and Final Fantasy fans when those games went to Xbox, but those were just third party games and they were either only on the NES because Nintendo was a monopoly in the 80's and the PS1 had CDs and it was easier to work with compared to other consoles. (that and the PS1 sold like hotcakes)
I assuming what's happening with the AA games being a DS exclusive in the west is Capcom has a Japanese mentality and they automatically think what works in Japan works everywhere and they don't sell the PC version in the west because they tried it in Japan and they sold a lot more copies of AA games in Japan for the DS because Japan has this magical thing called "a good metro transit system" where you can go almost anywhere in the country without driving (of which doesn't fucking exist in USA) and you have time to kill on the train and they tried the PC versions sold a lot less in Japan because Japanese people love portables, so they gave up on localizing the PC version. (that and they seem to have the mentality that wintel machines are only for work, internet and porn) They are also porting AA games to mobile, Japanese are moving to mobile gaming and European culture has already moved to mobile gaming on trains, ten years ago in Germany, you could find people playing the PSP on the train and now, they all use their phones.
Capcom's more innovative talent left. Keiji Inafune (creator of megaman) started his own company and is now working on Mighty No. 9 and Shinji Mikami (creator of resident evil) is getting ready to release The Evil Within.
Oh my god! I love this game! Phoenix looks like he will finally appeal to a bit more of a diverse audience!
when apollo isn't in the trailer
*CHORDS OF STEEL*
Look closer at 1:46 he is in the trailer
"Phoenix and's Athena's court"...
You'd think the shippers would've jumped on that.
I think that's because most people i talk about the game to ships him and maya me included
David Jimenez I don't, though. XD
And I mean those who haven't shipped Phoenix with anyone next (which is hard to find because Maya).
I literally just started crying. This is beautiful.
1:45 Winston Payne looking more fabulous than ever!
I would love to see a DLC case where I must defend the judge of a crime! :D
I'm so happy Phoenix is back! I'm also happy Apollo Justice will make an appearance in this as well! I can't wait to buy this!
The memories.
I just saw Japan's new trailer and both Klavier and Pearl are in the screenshots at the end. I'm so happy!! :D
I find it odd that you in the trailer you see Athena using the mood matrix on Ted Tonate and Tonate hating lawyers which NEVER happened in the game
Power of L and voice acting anywhere other than the cutscenes...
This is like a commercial of the game,it doesn't use actual footage of the game...
Makes sense since it has to be easy to understand while also not giving away plot points
The amount of times I slapped my own leg out of excitement during this video is enough to tell you how hyped I am.
Funny how the dialog in the trailer has absolutely nothing to do with the game. Ted had no grudge against lawyers, that wasn't his motivation at all. They just made shit up and pasted it over the characters animations.
Probably didn't want to spoil the story at all.
This is part of the demo so I'm sure people don't really care if they made it up or not. Some trailers have footage that doesn't even exist in the game.
Showing my support for the physical release of Ace Attorney 5 (in Multi-5!) and the localization of Ace Attorney Investigations 2! Please don't let us down!
Why does this game have to be M....Damn and this is the only Phoenix wright game I haven't played and the only on 3DS right now and NO physical copy. *Sigh*
Try the mobile version. It's only 25 dollars (if you include the bonus episode)
LITERAL TR4SH that's the origimal trilogy not dual destinies
Pikachu There is a mobile port for both AA Trilogy and Dual Destinies!
Well, now there is!
LITERAL TR4SH but i think they suck here where i live 25 bucks= 70 and where i live it is 40 aka 3,33 where you live
Sam Riegel is amazing. I have yet to find a single role where Sam Riegel's voice disappointed me. Besides there are tons of voice actors who sound the same in all their roles. Yuri Lowenthal, Troy Baker, Crispin Freeman, Johnny Yong Bosch and they are all amazing voice actors.
Am I the only one who thinks these new 'HD' graphics are super ugly? This is my favorite video game series, but they just made the characters so ugly!
ThereIsNoMatch I really didn't quite like the 3D effects.
I prefer the sprites from the trilogy, it's better and the animation in Dual Destinies seems a bit strange
@@RyuunoHypon Apollo justice Ace attorney had the best sprites imo, but these ones just look bad compared to the originals yeah
Phoenix almost looks like hes doing the t pose
Yes. I am a collector and a gamer. I like having something physical to put in and take out and display on a shelf.
Why dafuq isnt Apollo in this trailer?!
vincenzo gentile 1:14 on the imge on the top
According to the wiki, its the sequel to Apollo. The trailer sort of insinuates Phoenix's return earlier in the video when introducing Phoenix where it said "Return of a Legend"
This comes to NA this year? wow that's much earlier than I expected. kudos to Capcom.
After this game I can't wait to see how Layton vs. Ace Attorney turns out! so excited!!!
That cello part at 0:55. So. Freaking. Beautiful.
Helps getting the game released quicker too. It's disappointing we won't get a physical copy, but at least we still get to play it. Hopefully if this sells well we'll get AAI2 also.
Please release this in retail form if this sells well enough! My Ace Attorney collection can't sit complete on my shelf without this!!
There is always voice when he says "Objection!" or "Hold it!".
I read somewhere that it says it's a downladable copy "for now" in the begining, so hopefully we'll end up getting a physical copy later on...
I can't believe we're getting it earlier!
For now, it will be only on the 3DS eShop. I believe if the game does well, Capcom might release it as a physical copy, so we all has got to buy this damn game!!!!
As ThePhantomLK said, Wright always had a voice in his Objections, Hold Its, & Take Thats. Though the game will receive full voice acting in the cutscenes, hence why new, professional voice actors were hired for Dual Destinies (for example, Sam Riegel is reprising his role as Phoenix Wright from UMvC3).
Awesome! Was waiting for the English version!
the objection times perfectly to the music.
I know, I agree that it should come out this year since it was released on November 29 of last year; getting it in 2014 will be a more than a year later and AA5 will be released a few months after the Japan release. I guess Level 5's top priority at the moment is giving America the last Layton game. Well, at least Level-5 is still going to give us PLvsAA at some point.
Out in Japan next month, out everywhere else in autumn.
Digital only everywhere except Japan, though.
gotta love that remix of trial and tribulations objection theme
The original voice actor for Phoenix, Ben Judd who was the head of localisation when the first games got released, left Capcom a while ago.
Well it has been years since we even saw Edgeworth in an AA game (not counting the AAI games), pretty much since AA5 takes place 8 years after AA3. Plus if you also think about it, if ya looked at the Black and White/B2W2, Bianca (a supporting character), gains glasses after even 2 years passed. However, don't worry, in the game trailer pics, he doesn't seem to be wearing glasses...
Yes, this is set one year after Apollo Justice. However, nothing about Maya has been confirmed yet, but at least Pearl will definately appear in the game.
It was either e-shop release or no release at all. Apparently, Capcom USA had to convince Capcom Japan to let them localise it, and this was the best way. It saves money on shipping costs, production, etc and still lets the game have a release.
I was excited when I heard the orchestral rendition of the theme...this is gonna be awesome
I'm happy as long as they keep earlier factors that made the series great.
I'm ready.
Bring it on, Capcom...Bring it on!
It's his same voice from UMvC3. Which I loved.....
I find it odd to but Sam Regal has done it before in Ultimate Marvel, and I thought he did a good job of it. Also its pretty awesome that Phoenix is being voiced by the guy who did Viral(TTGL), Tanaguchi(Haruhi) and Stahl(FE:A)
Hyped for this, but a limited physical edition would be nice too Capcom!
I love how this Objection theme is a orchestral remix of the Trials and Tribulations Objection!.
Okay thank you! :3, i'll look forward to it ! ^^
Thank you for posting the video!
Sounds like Sam Riegel is back as Wright.
Not surprised, he was heavily requested for Nick's voice actor (myself included).
I can't stop re watching this!!!
We'll have to play the game...
Remember: She was a "Cameo" on Apollo Justice. And the same goes to that girl (I think is Ema Skye) that appeared on AAI1
Are you kidding me? I was so pumped for this and now it's only dowloadable? We want a physical copy, Capcom :/
This game comes out on my birthday :)
Can not wait for this!
I kinda hoped they'd have found another VO for Phoenix Wright than the UMVC3 actor. His "Objection!" line still sounds better here and more enthusiastic than it did in UMVC3 though, so it might not be that bad. I just hope he does well in the cutscenes of the game, so i won't be scared away by that.
Perhaps if every fan of the AA series buys a DD version of it, perhaps a physical release could be possible, not 100% certain, but again a possibility.
From what I've heard there will probably be a flashback case in Dual Destinies set during the time of the first three games, where Edgeworth doesn't wear glasses, while he does wear them 8 year later, during the time of this game.
They have that. It's called the Japanese retail release, which is priced as $60 too.
It's one of the toys that Juniper Woods had when the bombing happened.
If you play the demo, you'll notice that these toys play a big role in the case.
At the end of the fourth game he said he'd "keep at this lawyer thing for a while", so it wouldn't make much sense if he had simply disappeared. Also there is appearently going to be a disagreement between Phoenix and Apollo, so he will probably have an important role in the story and get some character development.
Can't wait! Bought a 3DS 2 weeks ago just to play this game!
maya i believe is in the temple still training with pearl and may show up in 5..as a surprise and later in cases we might see edgeworth, gumshoe or butz
It is a direct sequel to the rest of the games in the Ace Attorney series. It is set one year after Apollo Justice, after Phoenix got his badge back.
Watching these trailers, It's like the developers went to the public and asked them how they could make the next Ace Attorney game the best one ever.
Everyone knows about Trucy and Pearls being in the game, and the game's Japanese website listed them too, but they didn't mention anything about Maya being in it, although I heard a rumor that she makes a cameo appearance, a letter from her and a flashback, but that's just a rumor until we get the game in English.
They should make remakes of all the previous Phoenix Wright games and make them look just like this while adding bonus new cases in all the remakes to make people wanna buy it. The 5th case from the first game for the DS was a brand new case
The original English release was almost a decade ago. Who knows if the original voice actor can still even replicate that same voice. People's vocal chords and voices change over time. That and who knows if he still sounds good in higher audio quality.
Whilst I would've preferred to have a physical copy, I'm still happy to get this game digitally.
Phoenix's new objection gives me goosebumps o.o
Now that you mentioned it, that logo is supposed to be in the other side like Apollo Justice's. .-.
On the Japanese website of the game it is stated that the game does indeed have anime cutscenes in it.
I'm sure they still have the magatama on him (or at least since his time in AA4, we see him use it).
Looks like Sam Riegel will be taking over for Phoenix's voice, reprising his role from UMVC3.
Yup. There are 4 games in the series and 2 spin offs. They are all really great but I definitely recommend you play the 4 first ones since you'll be able to understand more things such as inside jokes etc. and of course since they're awesome ;)
Sven hinted at a lower price-point, which I would be happy with considering the circumstances.
I'd rather have a digital-only release than no release at all.
>So far announced.
Of course. I know it's Capcom we are talking about, but you have to give them time to make DLC cases.
Have you ever see him point his fingers during court, and wonder how he can't be left handed. It's just the only for his hands not to cover his face, when he's on the left side of the court.
Well it'll still be an Ace Attorney game. Just with fine animation.
i don't mind nick's new voice actor. he's the guy who played him in UMVC3 and the guy who plays dean in the venture bros, if i'm not mistaken =D
(Sorry it cut off) ... It's just strange that the UMvC3 voice actor for Phoenix is reprising his role in this game, but that game he spoke full sentences, not just his infamous sayings.
Actually, you can see him at 1:45 in a single panel at the top of the screen. He doesn't say anything, but he's there!
Does anyone else feel like Phoenix is a real person out there somewhere doing his job?
the thing is: I think is that since Phoenix is a lot older he needed to sound a little bit more mature, If you listen to his voice well, you'll notice that is the same voice actor, only that his voice is deeper.
I really hope that that this first case will have a similar significance to Apollo justice's.
Probably became the Master of the Spirit Channeling tribe. Idk if she'll make a cameo apparence, but at least 15/16 yrs old Perly is there though.
Since this is after Apollo Justice, there should be a cutscene of Phoenix reverting from Hobo Phoenix to Lawyer Phoenix. And tell us how he earned his badge back.
Well, if that can slightly make you feel better, Pearl is confirmed to appear.
...Am I the only one who thought Apollo had an awesome voice? Chords of steel, man! Can't go wrong with that!
Physical copy or not, I'm still buying it. Ace Attorney was probably the best series on the DS.
I think he probably meant the two phrases you heard in the trailer.
As long as we get it, I'm satisfied. Yeah, I would've loved to have a physical copy, but the series has always had tons of hoops to jump through just to make it overseas. Digital distribution is the easiest and most inexpensive way of publishing the game. Let this foreshadow any further installments to come out way, like Ace Investigations 2 or the Layton crossover. Also is that Sam Riegel as Phoenix? (Beary from Persona 4, Tristan Taylor from Yu-Gi-Oh, Stahl from Fire Emblem Awakening)
She's busy being the Master of the Kurain Spiritual Technique.
Pearl and Edgeworth are confirmed to be in this game. I saw them in a Japanese trailer of this game. I believe Pearl is the same age as Trucy, 15 and Edgeworth is the same age as Phoenix, somewhere in their 30's.
I'm sure Maya will be involved in another case like she always has. I saw a picture that looks like Kurain Village so who knows?
I see Sam Riegel added more emotion to his Objections.
Here's to hoping his Take That also improved. Overall, I'm glad he was casted.
