On 10/2/2010, my mother left to keep her appointment with her Maker. As a metaphor for her life, this video is relevant. The trip, like the life she lived, was eventful, colorful and filled with beauty both rich and austere. It was not always pleasant but she finished strong and always lived it on her terms. I'm so proud of that woman!
I have driven this route for work probably a dozen times a year on average for the past 15 years. Ive been lucky with delays for the most part. Hopefully that will continue.
I'm going on a road trip this summer using I 70. I obsess over the map route for weeks in advance so I know landmarks and this video is extremely informative.
I've drove From Florida to Vegas a few times and I have taken this route through Colorado, The stretch between Vail to Glenwood Canyon IMO is the most scenic, beautiful drive I have ever been on. Also through Utah, Capitol Reef is pretty amazing too. Arizona Nevada Border is great as well.
Mmm, I'm really looking forward to this. I'm from NY, going to visit friends in California this summer and driving rather than flying, for the pleasure of it. Colorado is the state I'd most like to see.

Very soothing drive to work. I wish I had a commute like that except the time it takes to complete it.
I have to make this trip this weekend. I wish my car was as fast as yours, so I could make the trip in 8 minutes instead of 4 hours.
