To be honest, that's how James felt in Silent Hill 2 remake. Might as well play Leon S Kennedy in Silent Hill since Silent Hill 2 is more Action Horror then Physiological Horror, especially if they had to rely on Jumpscare to scare you if you already feel like Leon S Kennedy lol.
That.... isn't how mods work. The Core Game Engin never had that feature as part of its engine, so adding something like that in would be extremely difficult.
