im so glad you did did a review on it. Its about time someone did..
If they had nagashock type customer service they would skyrocket in controller worlds maybe and offer a little bit more customization with digital click buttons and dpad
Great review as always. Ordered the tournament fps white with 2 button/hall effect. Claims 5 day build time on it since not customizable. Excited
Did you receive it yet?
How long did it take to get to you and how did it perform
Hall effects feels very very weird for aiming. Not good for competitive fps yet. Imo
You need to do a teardown video so we can see how they calibrated the analogs, it would be nice to know if they have a board soldered to each analog. Great review 👍
I'm excited to see we're that much closer to hall effect modules that work on PS5. Channels like Jun Zeng (which is already selling these modules) and Marius Heir (almost there) are leading the charge on this.
Jun Zeng module is hard as hell to solder on properly, requires experienced technician
@@zznothinzz I'm working on starting a custom controller company that features his boards. At the moment I'm just waiting for parts to arrive to finish testing to make sure everything I'm using is compatable.
@@zznothinzz do you have any experience soldering?
@@the_joy_n_sorrow Yes I do have some basic experience in soldering, desoldering, I can even make battlebeaver style back button and change out the hall effect thumbstick module for the Dualsese, but welding Jun Zeng PCB requires some extra finesse as the middle pin is insulated and not easy to stick to the board. It can be done but not recommended for 1st time guy. And honestly the outer threshold calibration is not noticed in game anyway so you dont need to pay extra 20$ for the PCB.
@@vaylinwindsor4571have they arrived yet ?
just finished watching the video amazing review
I really appreciate that
Yeah man! Finally ! On a different note, the actual controller looks way better and more premium in reality than on the editor (which is quite good)
Just cancelled my order, thank you for the solid review.
Why did you cancel your order?
Thanks bro great review ✌️
Thanks Mark !
Glad to see they fixed the issue since mine is being built right now. One thing to note is 0.5% circularity generally means the controller is not running in RAW mode. GameSir for example you can put in RAW mode and those values will jump up. The controller has an artificial max circular deadzone if it is showing 0.5%. I personally like that as long as they give you the option to change it into RAW mode as well. I know Gamesir and Nacon both allow it to be changed to RAW mode.
Haven't tested it but im guessing the stock dualsense may be using the physical controller shell around the joysticks to act as a max deadzone. So, they are running in RAW mode. Without the controller shell limiting movement you would probably get 15-20% or so on both. The outcome is that happy medium of 7-12% circularity with a physical gate. I know Vitrix controllers are setup exactly how I just described so, it wouldn't be a surprise to see stock dualsense the same.
Note to buyers: I've been waiting 2 months with less than acceptable customer service. They have not been straight forward about the wait time. If it was so they could work out the kinks with the sticks ok , glad I waited, but I have been left quite a bit soured with the brand because of that. I've most recently been told my controller was in QC and getting ready to ship which clearly has also not been the case. So, prepare yourself for a very long wait with little updates or trustworthy information coming from customer service.
Same for my experience. I actually had it take 8 weeks. But at week 6 it said shipped but never did. When I finally got a response they said it was still in testing. I think they are a small crew and overwhelmed but don’t want to communicate that they are behind.
@@MajrGingervitus yea they probably are a small crew. More transparency would go a long way though. I just want honest responses. Maybe they will read these comments and start to adapt to the feedback.
So about this RAW mode you speak of. Do you have any articles, resources, videos, or forums that could teach someone who has never heard of "RAW" mode and thinks it sounds like some comment section silliness.
Every other day I hear of a new "secret mode" controllers can be thrown into, it's spoken like it's a secret menu item at In n Out burger.
@@GamerHeavenOfficialIf you launch the Gamesir Software where you can change the dead zones etc you can put the stick a little past 100 and put it to raw mode and try it for yourself. Love the videos!
Yall better stay as far as you can from HYPR. Terrible company. I could probably say bunch of criminals.
I bought a Hall effect controller from them. When it came it was literally unplayable. Left stick was less responsive and it has more drift than my two years old standard controller. I showed them a video and they asked me to return which I did. They received jt back on the 6th of October. I was so pissed about everything so I opted for a refund instead of exchange.
First, they said they were processing the refund and like two weeks later they hit me up saying the controller wouldn’t turn on and it was badly assembled. Like dude, I didn’t even open up that controller. I don’t know how to. So how TF won’t it turn on or badly assembled? I literally sent a video of the issue. They accused me of ruining it and said they could fix it and send it to me for free. I had no other choice and I agreed. But to this day I heard nothing from that SCAM of a company. My money and controller probably gone at this point. I’ve sent multiple emails and they don’t respond to me anymore. I just hate it when these people try to sugarcoat and get us to buy from these people
Just avoid that company for your own good.
I bought one of these controllers with the HE thumbsticks I'm glad to hear good news about it. thanks for the review.
Glad I could help
Did you get them and do they work?
Good news? Have you read the comments?
@@Cousinseditz Betcha a twenny he regretted ordering or buying them.
🚨🚨🚨FOLKS, DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF BUYING THIS CONTROLLER!!!!🚨🚨🚨
I ran off to place an order after watching this review two months ago (Nov. 8, to be exact), and I still haven’t received my controller even after requesting their “express” service. Today is Jan. 9!
Customer service is nonexistent, and when you factor in the reports of customers receiving duds on arrival, I’ve continued to regret pouring money into this.
The fact that none of these TH-camrs who hyped this controller up are talking about these issues makes me wonder if they are complicit in this sham of a company - if you can call it a company to start with. Save yourself the heartache and stress. NEVER AGAIN!
Woohoo I’m first. I’ve been dying to see this review. Totally think I’m going to buy the HYPR Recon for Xbox series.
Dude HYPR makes a hell of a good Xbox controller (and ps , but I know that’s not your platform)
I wish we could graft the D pad from the Razer Wolverine controllers on to a dualsense.
Sick review. So in depth, attention to detail. Amazing humor in between everything. Thank you sir. Would you say this is better than scuf? Is it amazing to play warzone with? How would you say the tension sticks played out in game do you recommend it for accuracy is it really that good
Thanks brother, it runs like a top in COD.
@@GamerHeavenOfficiali’m using kontrolfreeks as well… would they fit on the interchangeable thumbsticks? Would you recommend pro thumbsticks for the HE modules? I’m afraid the modules will go down pretty easily when you change the thumbsticks now and then
A pretty balanced review. The controller initially peeked my interest (for PS5) from a previous review due to its hall effect modules but when I researched following that I found out HYPR was getting very bad reviews from the majority of those who ordered. The build wait time was way too long...4-6 weeks, and some others 2 months as you said. And following that there's the shipping nightmare. That takes almost as long...if they find the right shipping address. And the customer service feedback was piss poor. Some even found the controller faulty. Many had to cancel their orders, try to return the controller or consider it a loss.
That being said, it's a real pity because we all have been longing for a company to make available controllers (in my case for PS5) with Hall Effect modules for the longest while since we were fed up with the potentiometer ones...the ones famous for stick drift. All the bad reviews notwithstanding I may have taken the chance were it not for the lengthy time it took for building, delivery and the poor customer support.
Out of all the pro controllers you reviewed. Which one you recommend for cod pvp
How is the stick tension compared to a stock PS5 without hall effects?
Thanks to the vid I finally might've found the perfect Fortnite controller... HE sticks, above average gamepad performance, OC, FOUR rear buttons, and mechanical triggers & bumpers. Nice. Great review.
DON’T BUY A HYPR CONTROLLER!!
I bought three of them last year, they’re all dualsense. Two with normal thumbsticks and one with Hall effect.
The first one I ordered I had replaceable thumbsticks which when I received and tried to play with it every time the thumbsticks were on full lock it would be VERY GRINDY. Emailed them, sent a video, and they replied with “that’s normal” because I chose replaceable thumbsticks which apparently does that on full lock. Sent it back to replace the thumbsticks during march of 2023 and still haven’t got it back. After countless emails up until October 2023 they finally replied and told me that they will build me another controller within a week and right now it’s January 29 2024 and still no controller.
Second controller I bought in march 2023 after I sent my first controller to replace the thumbsticks. The first issue with this controller is the black color pieces they have doesn’t match other blacks. The skin I chose was the blue and black designer one with the black touchpad so the blacks didn’t really match. Not an issue that I’m worried about but deserves to be mentioned. The second issue is that after a month of use the thumbstick rings they use called “glide rings” started becoming worn out and very annoying to deal with. That’s why with the third controller I specifically told them to give me extra glide rings.
Third (and final) controller I bought came to me a few days ago right now is Jan 28 2024 and I ordered it in October 2023 expedited (all my orders were expedited). It has increased tension on the right thumbstick and decreased on the left. Out of the box it looked great until I noticed that the right thumbstick was tilted to the right. I tried moving it a lot of times and it always comes back tilted to the right. As you know this means that playing any competitive game with this type of flaw makes it impossible to win. I emailed them and sent pictures and they told me that “controllers are hand built by the team which is why we won't always have 100% straight thumbsticks”. They were straight on the first two. They also said “this minor aesthetic flaw shouldn't affect your gameplay at all.” My comments to that is say that to any gamer playing a competitive game and let’s see what they say.
Learn from my experience. Don’t buy hypr.
The customer service response is exactly like I imagined from these overpriced custom controller companies.
Wow. What a horror story. I would have been livid. And you bought 3 controllers from them?
You can add HE to the pre builds btw. I ordered the pre build with HE to try to get it faster but Im coming on 2 months of waiting...
Good luck my boy I waited damn near 3 months for my custom hypr controller with hall effect thumbsticks and it’s trash! The right stick cocked to the side and left stick doesn’t register full inputs, I can’t even tactical sprint in MW2 I am completely disappointed…
@@BankboyFilthy did they fix it for u or nah?
How was the customer service ??
Great video bro. I’ve been looking for the one of the best custom controller for the PS5 and I think I found it. I have one question. Since I will be using this for FPS, should I keep or remove the rumble?
Remove
Sick review! I just hope Hypr can include a carrying case as well for the controllers and add more colors and custom plates in their builder
Thank you my friend
Have u received it ?
Look at this guy. Wishing we were back in 2000. When Hall Effect sensors were standard in the Dreamcast controllers.
Weren't the PS5 PCBs too low in voltage to hold a HE stick module? I might have misunderstood Marius Heir's in-depth video on his prototype though.
Maybe a silly question, but could you not by the steam deck version of the gulikit and de solder those modules and re solder them onto whatever controller you wanted too?
another great video ..do you think gullikit will ever make H E sticks for dual sense edge or is that just a pipe dream ?? love to know your opinion
Maybe one day
I wish more companies did mail in controller
Just placed on order with your code does it really take 6-9 weeks?
Can you map the D-pad buttons to the custom buttons on the back of the controller or is it just the four buttons with shapes on them?
Hi Kevin, really really thank you for this review and all the videos that you have done, you really covered all the things that we need to take a decision. I have read every comment in this post and my experience says that it will be not a good idea to buy a controller from HYPR, it worked great for you but there are more people that have experimented troubles like: bad customer service, delays, product with errors and the refound it is not going well and one of the important things the joysticks with errors.
How I said this video is a great review but after reading the comments I am not feeling sure to buy a controller from HYPR, it is really sad because at the begging of my research I got really impressived for the product and price but now I am thinking totally different.
Thanks Kevin :)
I just ordered a controller with HE CALIBRATION METHOD of standard instead of the other options such as Pro Driver Board or AUTO calibrating. Did I make a mistake not getting the other two options? It was sold out at the time but now I see it’s available again? Wondering if I should trying canceling or see if I could change my order.
Do the antidrift sticks feel the same as normal stick or different? Are they stiffer?
42 nd ! such a beautiful controller ! . I would love one of those but to build a base model one is crazy expensive for us up in igloos in Canada . Awesome vid as per usual sir ! . Quick question are he sticks cost that much more then the stock ones ?
No they’re pretty reasonably priced at $14 per stick and you can do just the left or right
What one would you pick between the hypr and dualsense edge?
I order mine hopefully it come in sooner than later. Used your code. It was a good deal compared to other options who cost more
you got it? how is it
@@Rayan-rw3gt wish I could tell you but I’m still waiting for it to come in. It sucks hopefully I’ll get it soon and I’ll give you an update
@@Rayan-rw3gtUpdate do not buy from hypr at least not the Hall effect sticks option it lasted me less than a month before my left stick gave me issues. That it made me think that I was lagging because It kept making me go backwards like if I was skipping.
I can't wait till hypr does design faceplates for Xbox I want to get that faceplate you have
So I'm looking at getting a new controller. What would you suggest as far as a PlayStation Controller with 4 backpaddles or buttons. I was thinking this one or the scuff envision pro. I am on PC, and I play FPS games. I'm trying to stick to around 200 bucks.😊
Did u tune your thumbsticks as well?
They offer 3 calibration methods for the HE sticks. Standard, pro driver board +$15, auto calibrating +$17. Any insight or recommendation?
Are the interchangeable thubsticks the same as the pro’s?
What are the differences in the 4 thumbsticks options on their website?
Wow as a casual gamer I had no idea thatbthis was such a rabbit hole. Thanks for the knowledge dump, I now know more than I need to. I just bought PS5 edge... Was it a mistake?
Which one do you prefer more? Scuf reflex or HYPR? And does HYPR have the same clicky bumpers and triggers as the Scuf Reflex?
i actually bought gregs , extendo stick but couldnt use it on my reflex cause of the thick ass stock sticks .
I’m definitely getting this and using my envision as a back up
Would love to see them offer these hall effect sticks in modules for the Dualsense edge, seems like Gulikit is never going to come through on them lol
Is it possible to overclock the dualsense with Lord of Mice without DS4 Windows? So that I can still map the touchpad in Steam.
I’ve been looking to buy one of these for a little while now, and I have an important question, but I was told that their team is out for the holidays so if you wouldn’t mind answering:
Does the hall effect thumbstick make it where you can’t play certain games on PS5, like when you use a PS4 controller on a PS5?
I’m not 100% sure but I highly doubt it would
Great review but would you consider a hypr recon with he and customized like the video but Xbox over a elite series 2?
I’m sorry what is your question, if I would take this over an elite series 2? They are too pretty different controllers being for different consuls, but overall I would probably take an elite series 2 despite the quality control issues considering I’ve had mine for over three years with no issues
@@GamerHeavenOfficialI’m about to get another Xbox controller and I’m trying to decide whether or not to get another elite series 2 or to get a Xbox hypr with he, I’ve had 2 elite series 2 and both got stick drift within a month so the he sticks on a pro controller got me interested in hypr
So my new controller somehow has circle binded to the analogs. I have no idea how to fix it
Bro almost two months since I ordered a custom He controller and it still on building phase. Hypr It’s a joke.
there are 3 diffrent options for the HE do you have any suggestion on witch on is best?
Get the auto calibrating one unless you want to manually calibrate the center point, outer points and circularity
Yea i just have 1 question, i dont care about pro features or none of that i just want a hall effect that works for my ps5 i don't care for the extra shit, what do u recommend?
I know this won’t happen but just putting it out there as a thought, if gulikit, battlebeaver, and scuf were to partner up for one premium fully loaded controller with key features from all those companies that controller will break sales records for controllers and will be the only controller people will be buying. Just a thought tho
Or get this imagine if a Controller reviewer that had tested every controller on the market, created his own Controller company designed to offer unparalleled bang for buck or priced to performance. Perhaps GHC, Gamer Heaven customs. I’m just spitballing here
@@GamerHeavenOfficial would be cool tesla of controllers come up with a insane production line to bring down build cost an the production line will stabilize the durability overtime so that there is no constraints on order fulfillment or shipping delays and have a huge QA and Rnd team
FYI, that back paddle attachment is not unique to HYPR. I have seen it available on places that sell random Chinese aftermarket parts like Aliexpress and Ebay. It seems HYPR, Battle Beaver, Cinch, Gamenetics all use a combination of parts/shells/thumbsticks/digital trigger modules from ExtremeRate and other generic Chinese manufacturers floating around on online. Cool nonetheless to see you out front with the Hall effect review. I just hope Sony doesn't push out a controller firmware update that somehow interferes with the function of the Hall effect modules. Good stuff as always...
that should not be the case. the new PCB used to calibrate translates the signal from the HE to the dualsense controller. As far as the controller is concerned they are stock sticks.
I'm having a difficult time deciding on a controller with back paddles! Now I'm deciding between the HYPR, Duelsense Edge and Scuf.
I have the dualsense edge. Left stick already has stick drift after 2 months. Go with the hypr with hall effect sticks. It'll cost ya an extra 20$ but will be worth it as a long term investment
@@TheRealPaull @TheRealPaull thanks for the suggestion. Do you own a HYPR controller with the Hall effect sticks?
I disagree. Hall effect sticks still get drift due to calibration issues. I would rather have swappable stick modules from the dual sense edge than Hypr. You can’t swap the modules for the HYPR. @@Mika_sansan

What was the aim trainer for roller?
13 minites in talking about the slight off centre/stick drift of the thumbsticks. Thats what my hypr controller has came with and it is seriously an issue playing COD. Im returning mine. Mines is not not HE thumbsticks... although their customer service is so god damn slow
my controller after 6 months has that small jitter/noise you talked about on gamepad tester. If im not noticing it in game is it really stick drift or something to worry about?
No sir that is not stick drift related, a lot of potentiometer thumb stick modules will make that noise when you’re breaking neutral especially when the controller is new but once it gets broken in it will be quieter or completely silent. I noticed this during my scuff reflex review because that one was pretty noisy
I am throughly confused .. so is my gamsir t4 sticks good or nah??
I ordered the increased thumbsticks. And I need to say that it feels really weird. Like i would have a delay in my R3.. Hope i will getting used to it... Good video btw
I will say one thing they need to do is add accessories on your site I wanted to get extra swappable thumbsticks with the controller separately, but theres nothing kind of sucks that you have an option that you can't buy replacements for
This sounds pretty damn good. My question that I haven't been able to find an answer to is: Is the spring that returns the stick to center the same one that returns it from a push? One of my biggest problems with controllers always ends up being what I call the "accidental melee" playing CoD when R3 eventually weakens to the point that it's too easy to press in a tense moment. Anyone know if the heavier stick tension option would help with this or if there's a fix?
Yes, if the tension spring is lighter, it will be easier to press. So yes, higher thumb sticks tension makes it harder to press.
The decreased tension feels the same clicking in, and the increased one requires about 30% more strength. Hope that helps have a good day
How long it take to ship the hypr controller
When using this on a PC, is it possible to map the back buttons to anything OTHER than mirroring one of the controller's other buttons? Similar to the rear buttons on a steam deck/controller gives you four additional options for mapping, instead of four different ways to press the same buttons.
No
How remapping the paddles?
Which Hall effect controller is the best to buy for ps5?
I have watched his videos on best pro controller and to be honest I bought a aim controller and I love it you should watch his review on it sadly it did get stick drift and no one really covers that but I ended replacing the joystick so all is good still recommend aim controller
How does firmware update work on thees controllers?
Is the connection to pc wireless or wired?
Why no Nagashock Gaming reviews? Specifically for their custom DuelShock controllers PLEASE!!
got this today, with over a 2 month build time and it came with a massive amount of stick drift on the left stick. It pulls down by itself or when I press in the L3 stick to sprint. They told me to turn off/on controller for it to "auto-calibrate" the sticks but the left one stick pull down. Was hoping to have this controller replace my daily driver but it looks like I'll have to look elsewhere. big sad.
Did you find a fix?
The hypr team emailed me "solutions" turning off and holding the L3 etc but none of them worked. I sent them a video showing the L3 going down by itself and they told me to send it back to them so it can be replaced. I sent it back today so I'll see when it comes back to me. ETA: currently unknown. The controller is pretty good other than that L3 and is the best ps5 controller I've used so far(again apart from that faulty L3).@@rabusse
Gonna pick up this controller, it's the only one that really makes sense. I think I would go aim if they had hall effect sticks. I don't know if this is a stupid question as they start life as a ps5 controller, but is gyro still supported on these controllers?
Aim dose have them
Yea im hearing that hypr customer service the worst of any controller company
Damn really? I know they ran into some delays shipping out the he sticks is this what you’re referring to?
i commented on another youtuber who bought a controller b4 they offered the hall eff sticks and he sauid he LOVES his hypr controller but he said their customer service was the worst he ever had to deal with. also see quite a few ppl in your comments saying the same thing lol @@GamerHeavenOfficial
@@GamerHeavenOfficial bro i need your help i can’t pull the trigger on a new controller. i just need something reliable with paddles
I love your reviews and trust that you are being honest but my question is, is your controller getting built with special care knowing who it’s going to? I’ve heard not great things so far from hypr from average customers.
I don't believe so. I have received more than a couple controllers for review (from other companies) with some issues that I have pointed out. As for HYPR it took them almost 2 months to build my controller so I don't think I got expedited service.
@@GamerHeavenOfficial lol fair enough. I want to reiterate, I have complete confidence in your honesty and competence in reviewing controllers. I’ve bought three controllers, a hex ultimate, hypr signature in feb and another one with Hall effect that I haven’t recieved yet all using your discount codes. You effin rock bro.
How is your hypr? I keep seeing reviews whwre people recieve a broken controller and then hypr never responds
Hey Kevin just curious if you had a high speed usb-c to usb-c cable do you think it would hold that faster connection better when you over clock the polling rate? If you could test that for me it would be dope my pc doesn’t have a usb-c port so I have to upgrade soon
I will absolutely test that for you
@@GamerHeavenOfficial absolute legend! I appreciate you man
@@GamerHeavenOfficial also does overclocking over 1k polling rate make a difference? Personally i cant tell
@@GamerHeavenOfficial did you ever test this?
I'm going on 3 months waiting for my hypr controller...
i ordered mine jan 23 :/
I will return to this video once I get my controller. I ordered a HYPR Signature FPS Yellow - Four Low (Middle Finger Operation) / Hall Effect (HE) Thumbsticks on November 6th. The controller entered their queue on November 8th. The controller started building on November 14th. On November 27th I sent an email asking about the progress my controller had made. A representative said they were just waiting for a part and the controller would ship out this week. I thanked them for their speedy response to my email. As of December 2nd, today, my order has been quality tested and shipped.
So overall from order date to ship date, it's taken around 4 to 5ish weeks which seems to be an acceptable amount of time, and lines up with what you said towards the end of the video.
Can you do all of us who ordered, a favor? I’d love it if you can do a gamepad tester test and see the resting axis values + a circularity test. Mine also entered the building stage on November 13th but its sat there for awhile now :/ starting to think I’ll never see it.
@@DyzzBro did you get it?
@@hgv42 I got it a couple days ago, after some testing in the gamepad tester and in-game testing, I’m disappointed and upset. Theres quite a few things wrong and defective about it.
@@DyzzBro is it playable or are they big issues?
@@hgv42 Not playable, the right trigger is jammed and the right thumbstick doesn’t even complete a full circle, I’ll link you to a reddit post if you’d like
Which controller has the best mechanism for removing the rear paddles in your opinion?
Elite series 2
You mentioned the XB2 Brook adapter - something I recently bought because of one of your videos so that I can use my dualsense on my Xbox.. are you gonna do a video on Microsoft's recent announcement about how they are going to be forbidding people from using a bunch of third party controllers? Like, which ones,(XB2?), it it will affect offline games, etc etc.
Yeah I will make a video on that topic, they won’t keep out converters because they get firmware patches thank the controller gods. Also every controller I’ve reviewed will still work with their new 3rd party blocking policy as they are all either licensed Xbox accessories or they start as a stock Xbox controller so that’s what the console recognizes it as
Doesnt it say on with HE for rumble? So its removed by default but you pay to add rumble back?
Yes it’s harder to make with rumble in
Would you ever review Gamenetics controlers?
Anyone know of a PC compatible controller that has dual stage triggers like the old, discontinued Steam controller. Basically I need a controller for Rocket League that allows me accelerate when I press the trigger and to boost when I press the same trigger harder to engage the 2nd stage. I also need at least 2 paddles or buttons underneath for handbraking and jumping. I've played Rocket League for about 8 years with the Steam controller but it's no longer available.
Do you recommend increased thumbstick tension? I’m afraid it’ll be waay too hard to use them in close quarter encounters with the 75% increase
try precision rings
@@nsfang2571i have precision rings but Idk if it feels the same tho haahah…. Would you recommend interchangeable thumbsticks or just the pro’s? And how about the -20% decreased tension on your left?
@@dennisstrijbos4721 im not sure whats different about the pros. I would reccomend the interchangable thumbsticks. im not a fan of increased or decreased tension but if thats what you are interested in then go for it
@@dennisstrijbos4721-20% decrease tension left and right is the option pro gamer use. So it’s the better option
I want a pro controller and I like the ps5 controller style whats a good controller company any recs?
They also provide HE sticks for the Dual Sense Edge. Had mine serviced last month
I don’t see anything on the website how did you look it up
@@eliassanchez4757 im in manila the offer HE services for the edge if you are near
Got mine a week ago tomorrow. Played it for 7 hours. R2 trigger stopped responding. Spent over 200 gbp for a shoddy build to be told sorry the wire to the board must have come loose. Apparently a new one has been built and was meant to be dispatched yesterday but it hasn't. Not a happy customer. See what this second one is like.
Damn sorry to hear that but thank you for sharing your experience
@GamerHeavenOfficial not a problem. Was an amazing controller though while it worked not going to lie. Will keep you updated when this replacement gets here. There's a post on Reddit. Few have had bad builds and the main gripe seems to be the delivery times if any delivery at all. Tbh I got mine within 2 weeks from build to door in the UK. So my only issue was that hang on, I've just paid over 200 GBP for a premium controller to break so quick. I believe in second chances and with it being electronic I can accept you get faulty goods sometimes. Just peed me off. Hopefully this second one will make up for it.
Thanks for the review! I am getting confused which controller to choose for my fps games only on ps5. Mainly play rainbow six and COD. Please help me to choose!
Aim v3, battle beaver, or scuf reflex. I’m working on the best controller for PS 5 video and that will give you a lot more options in three different price points but for now those are good
@@GamerHeavenOfficial Thanks a lot, sitting back for the video👍
@@GamerHeavenOfficialyou wouldn’t recommend the HYPR signature with the HE and tunable tension sticks?
I’m just so confused on which HE controller I should choose.
I wonder if any companies will make a custom version of the DualSense Edge (if Sony would even allow that). It’d probably be prohibitively expensive though.
Mega Modz currently offers a custom edge and I think I’ve seen it on another builder as well
@@GamerHeavenOfficial Interesting. Checked it out. It’s too bad it’s not more customizable in terms of colors and digital triggers but I guess there’s so much going on with the internals of the DualSense to begin with that changing one thing means having to make alterations or sacrifices elsewhere.
@ManateeMentality yeah I'm also wondering about Interchangeable thumbstick controller Ala the dual sense edge and would one of these companies just make that design
Agreed when you spent that much on a controller you want to be able to change the joystick even if they are HE ones just in case.
you can only overlock on pc right? 1000hz polling rate doesn’t work on ps5? is there any stock 1khz polling rate for ps5?????? plz answer
Does anyone know if the normal mechanical rear button (not the flex pro like he has here) layouts will work with the Razer stand chargers? Thinking of getting 4 rear buttons (middle finger activation, not the lower middle and ring finger layout) and would be nice if my Razer charger stand will work. It DEFINITELY doesn't work with SCUF controllers obviously lol
I was wondering the same, there is a two back button version that could fit.
So if you were to put this h2h against the envision which would come out on top
Hypr actually offes mechanical dpad if you directly ask them. I know because I did and they answered.
I'm not sure how this makes sense that they would not have mechanical buttons unless you ask them.
Might be the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard
Kevin would it be wise to place an order now or wait? Trying to avoid a delayed wait time and I have a feeling they’ll experience an big influx of orders after this review
They seem to be back on track with wait times
@@GamerHeavenOfficial Im doing it, pulling the trigger. Fingers crossed I get one as good as yours 😩
@@DyzzBroI did the same man lmao
@@colemoxie4209 mine JUST got updated today (a week after purchasing) and its currently in the building state, not sure if I trust the legitimacy of their tracking after seeing all my friends post on Reddit and all the other horror stories 🤣
Any news on your guys controllers?
Ordered mine almost a week ago with both joysticks HE. Added rush build because I eat controllers for breakfast. Have not received any confirmation throughout email, should I be worried for 2 months delay?
I would reach out just to check on it although I wouldn’t be worried because it seems like they did fall into the 2 to 3 month delay and now they are back to 5 to 6 weeks according to them
@@GamerHeavenOfficial just received a response, communicated with Customer service through email. It seems they got “tripled” demand as “Mina” from Their service told me. So I’m expecting here a 2-3 month wait. So if anyone hopes to get one even before Christmas, await yours at 2024. This is so bad. The wait time is almost as bad and long as battle beaver 2-3 months. Wow. Just wow…
More than 2 months have passed since I’ve ordered. Even thought I’ve paid for “rush” service. They simply cannot handle the amount ordered.
2 of my hypr controllers have input delays of 3.45ms. Iv switched to the edge pro, i aint going back to these 3rd party controller companies. Let the pros(PS) give out their best work
