The plaintiff is a sweetheart and uncomplicated the way a 19 year old should be - good head on her shoulders for sure. Hope the defendant learned how to be a better friend to ppl.
No one, during court, or the interview after, challenged the defendant when she kept saying she was owed because she provided a service for the plaintiff. When did she provide it? She may, or may not, have made the wig. But she never gave it to the plaintiff. In my mind that's NOT providing a service. And she totally dodged the plaintiff when the plaintiff came to pick up the wig on the agreed upon date. The plaintiff is better off without a "friend" like that.
she is really a good friend for paying 400$ for a wig just to support her friend’s business even if she really didn’t need a wig. it’s sad she got played.
The defendant really stood in court for almost 20 minutes and still came out and said “I provided a service “ 😮 people like this are extremely scary ! She still believes she’s done nothing wrong
Anyone else catch the part where she explained that the defendant went to a 21+ club event and left the friends behind .However, later when JM asked the ages plaintiff says she was 19 and defendant 20. Guess the plaintiff didn't have a fake ID lol.
Shoutout to young women like the defendant who exercise discernment and know when to talk away from friendships that do not align with their values and expectations.
to everyone acting clueless in the comments: wigs are protective and versatile styles when done right. they help keep manipulation of your natural hair to a minimum. they make it easier to grow and retain hair... you can wear 7 different styles in 7 days, all while keeping hair manipulation at a minimum.
Me not acting, I was totally oblivious to all that... I am a man however, and now that I understand this wig thing , I feel that I am now more 🤓 smarter than previously was. I may even get one for myself 😜
@@bongoikno4994it’s not about “not being yourself”. Wearing wigs for a lot of people serves as more of a protective style rather than just a cosmetic. I can speak for a lot of people with hair like mine (4c) when it’s manipulated frequently, it results in the hair breaking and becoming damaged! Wigs allow you a lot of versatility all whilst keeping you natural hair underneath protected!😊
“I provided a service.” No 👏🏻 You 👏🏻 Didn’t 👏🏻 You provided a headache, don’t get it twisted. She’ll NEVER succeed in the business world. Also nobody seemed to catch the part where she said her friend went to a 21 and over club and ditched her, but the defendant is only 20. Clearly she’s bad news.
She keeps saying I provided a service but ignoring the fact that she didnt hand over the product. I bet she wouldnt like it if she ordered a pizza and it was never delivered, but when she called the pizza place to ask about it the manager told her "well we made the pizza."
Giiiirrrllll!!! Lies !! If I pay you then give me the WIG like what are we talking about?? Bad "business " owner! That's definitely no friend 😕 and she played in her face for months and months!! Sucks that the stylist lacks maturity because she was dead wrong !!.
I don’t think the plaintiff needed the wig perse I think she was trying to support her friend……; I do agree with the judge about serious convos being in text…..
Wait they told the judge they were 19 and 20 but didn't the plaintiff say when the defendant turned 21, she went to an event for her birthday and left her outside because the plaintiff was only 20?
The plantiff was probably under 18 at the time that happened. The club probably let the defendant in because it was her b day and she was 20ish. Years ago I had a similar situation happen.
The defendant is a liar, if she had truly made the wig in November, then why 8 months later is she offering to refund the plaintiff. I think she made the wig for court...
Every thing about the defendant threw me off but what threw me off the most was the fact she brought a used and low quality wig to court to justify her “providing a service” smh.
I think you can go into business with a friend depending on the business. My friend has a store with a website, and I frequently go onto her website and order items and it's cut clean and that's it. But as soon as things you start getting customized or personalized jobs, it's safer to go with someone you don't know. Because when you're paying for something personal or custom, you have a certain expectation that things should be a certain way and the artist wants to defend their craft to the death, both of which can bring out the worst in people. If you value your friendship, just go with someone else.
Respectfully...Gaslight... only an individual can decide how they want/ choose to handle any personal situation in their own life. And has the right to terminate any "friendship" for their own personal reasons 🤲🏾💜
Their both very beautiful, hope them both a good life, and if the defendant stops lying and starts treating her friends better than the plaintiff maybe she'll have a good life too.😬
BK and Queens can be too far depending on where you are and if you have a car or not. Don’t get me started on the Bronx. You have to go through 2 boroughs to get to Brooklyn. Way too far
The defendant couldn't even stand up straight and look at the judge directly. She kept looking down. She gives off a Doctor Jekyll & Hyde personality.🙄
Didn't the plantiff say that the defendant had a birthday and her and her friend's went to a 21+ club, but they are underage, so they couldn't go? So.... the defendant invited all of her friends. The majority of them probably had fake id's. I'm sure the defendant knew what the plan was and even if she didn't she should have asked if everyone had fake id's to go in. If not, do something else. I know this is probably how it didn't go down, but this is how my brain works 😂
Doug, people don’t only wear wigs because they don’t “look fabulous”, or even to make it longer. They wear them because most women like variety. There are also people with long hair who wear wigs with short cuts, because they like the look, but don’t want to cut their own, hair.
I feel bad for the plaintiff. She is the type of friend that we all want and should cherish! The defendant never even apologized.
Not once
Hey Taurus Twin! ❤
Yesssss!!!!! We all do want more people like her so kind and respect ❤
You didnt provide a service… she gave you money and got nothing in return. For months. Gurl bye.
yeah i was waiting for doug to set her straight on that but he missed it .
This!!!! It was so frustrating that she wasn't corrected by the judge or Doug.
That part!!
Lmao for real. If she provided the service, why is it still in her hands. Dummy. 😂
She probably made that wig just to bring it to court 🤦♂️ shame on you
Exactly 😂
I have a feeling a lot of viewers thought this.
I was like, there is no way in hell that the plantiff went to the house and left it. Such a liar
She probably bought a $25 wig
Right. Who knows whose wig that was or where she got it.
🤭🤭🤭🤭
I love that “ Not giving me friendship I deserve “ wise young lady.
Very wise. Glad she got it.
This is the comment I was looking for. ❤
She knows she finished that wig right before court
The plaintiff seems so kind and genuine ♥
I love the plaintiff personality. She is so sweet and bubbly.
You can tell the plaintiff really cherished the friendship they once had. I had a friend that pretty much did the same thing.
Same here. I hope she doesn't let this experience stop her from developing positive long lasting friendships in the future.
Sorry to you both. I understand your pain. I went through the same thing with a friend as well. We havent spoken since 2018.
Your better off just being cordial with people, that way you won't get hurt!👍
Damn we all been through it
The plaintiff is a sweetheart and uncomplicated the way a 19 year old should be - good head on her shoulders for sure. Hope the defendant learned how to be a better friend to ppl.
True because the defendant isn't no real friend
$400 for THAT wig?!
Temu has that wig for 58.99 😂😂 girl trying to advertise on TPC...stop it!
That was something she purchased from Amazon just to bring to court
Probably real hair
She definitely overcharged her friend. That wig is absolute trash!! No way that's a $400 hairpiece.
@@toohappyynot that wig

I paid for my pizza but not getting it until 8 months later.."i provided an service " 😂
Girl bye Felicia
Now the defendant can wear her work of art.
You know she won't wear that trash wig 🤣
That wig looks cheap. She did her a favor not giving it to her.
It looks straight from the beauty supply with no part….😂

Doug’s words to the plaintiff were really kind. His compliments were very genuine
Had the defendant just made the wig in the first place they wouldn't be in court. She didn't mind taking her money.
Doug...that lovable, senile uncle who always says the first thing that pops into his head. 😄
The plaintiff seems like a sweetheart. Doug was nice to her in the hallway.
Good on the plaintiff to understand her self worth at 19.

That's the question I was going to ask. Let's you know the type of friend she was. The defendant I am speaking of.

Right cause they sont say this under white women's comments. No one came for Kim K for wearing blonde wig

These cases are WIGdiculous!!🤣
🤣🤣🤣
With all that beautiful hair the plaintiff has! She’s the last person that needs fake hair ❤
The plaintiff is my daughter! Thank you for showing her love❤
photos or videos, or it isn't true
@lawjd96 I'm literally in the beginning of the video lol
“Well it’s growing out now.” Doug tickled me 😂😂😂
The plaintiff had a beautiful smile
I don’t think the plaintiff needed the wig perse I think she was trying to support her friend……; I do agree with the judge about serious convos being in text…..
Why did she bring the wig to court, did she think it would make her look good in court 😂
Both gorgeous young ladies ☺.
That wig definitely was giving, "last minute made" and certainly didn't scream $400 quality 🥴🤦🏿♀️🤣🤣🤣
The defendant is no kind of business person and not a friend, at all!
The defendant doesn't deserve a friend like the plaintiff! ❤
The Plaintiff is so cute and sweet. Glad she continued to pursue the defendant thru text for her money!
The Defendant is so shady

Two videos at the same time??
So glad about that part

If you finished the wig in November; why would you try to repay her?
She definitely spent the 400 and because the plaintiff was so nice she knew she could take advantage and she did

😂😂😂 dead asleep
He did okay up until the 8:00 mark then it's "good night sweet prince". 😴
He's awake. I saw him blinking. And at one point he was looking to his right at the plaintiff. But maybe he's nodding off and trying to stay awake.
I mean, she could've shipped the wig to her. There's no excuse.
$100 in interest? She could be prosecuted for that.
From the way the defendant’s hair looks I wouldn’t want her to do my hair or wig.
Smh so many ppl complain that their friends don’t support their business and she does and gets scammed
When did you complete the wig? Just before the court case, I think?
Thats nice of her to support her friend's business
