In this brief video I go over the some key points in the restoration of a Magnavox Imperial Micromatic record Changer. This is primarily a customer update video, but of course everyone is welcome to ride along.

1960 model, the first model with the micromatic mechanism
1 control knob for both speed / on off
This was only called either magnavox custom or imperial
Tonearm is not the curved design like Micromatics have. This has a tonearm design used on the earlier 1958 models .
1958 models had 2 separate control knobs 1 on both left / right side of the base

i have a changer like that which is giving me trouble, it won't lift the tonearm the way it's supposed to

A small screw on top of tonearm in front of the main screw at back end of tonearm
Tighten clockwise to make it raise arm higher
