Rob, that long, big black thing on the left wall, you called a "tester of some sort," is an OSCILLOSCOPE. Just so you know what it is to look it up! Such cool stuff. It's pretty Old, so should be worth some money. I love the old Radios and Tvs and HiFi stuff with cabinets, so cool! I hope someone could actually get them working again, THAT would be cool!
Obsolete parts are worth a fortune. My hubby used to sorce Obsolete tech parts for a small fortune.

Yes you should research just in case he has some radio active material. He certainly has lots of radios.
For $187 you could almost get it back in scrap metal. Love the vintage radios some looked like bakelite.
Robert there is money in that unit. One of the radio/record wooden units refurbished can bring plenty. I love them. Bless 👍🙏🏻❤️😊

First thing I noticed was that it looks like someone rummaged through it before you.
Old high electronics can have a lot of gold in them. A lot of bus bars for main connections were gold. Check out the price of gold in the sixty's and seventy's. At times it was below forty dollars an ounce.

Just Jeff... If you look at almost any successful person you will find they read a lot. Look at any failure and you will find they don't like to read. Yes, there are some of both camps that break that rule, but they are few.
