Which Telescope to buy?

I think the first question one should consider is whether they want a telescope for visual observing or for astrophotography. Ideally the learning curve should begin with basic observing, getting to know the night sky. But some people might want to jump right into AP since that is what all the TH-cam channels are about.

Well said Jim I did buy a binocular two years back to start observation then got my first Newtonian and slowly moved in to AP.

Sorry for the late response,
I would love to show it to you and am waiting on my new telescope, however to answer your question the galaxies are far away objects hence you need longer focal lengths like something above 1000mm.
I will create a video on that once I have my new telescope with me.
