This girl Hyper-extended her spine, maybe overstretched her back, or contorting back and not doing spine cooldown. That's why I always do Pipe stretched after back bends to bring back spine to it's length

People really underestimate how easy it is for a child to get hurt . My friends daughter was only 7 and she was playing like a typical child does. She screamed and collapsed and had paralysis . She was sent to the best pediatric hospital in the area - an hour away and it is found that she had a stroke - but she had no underlying risk factors - nothing . So it was concluded that somehow during her play she moved a certain way that damaged a major artery causing bleeding with subsequent clotting that led to a stroke . She is now a young lady in her early 20's and after years of therapy etc.. she still has some limitations but she has come a long way !
God bless this little angel. She didn’t deserve this, the devil had gotten into her body at that moment as she was doing a backbend. He caused this to happen, God is beside this little girl x Lord God, I pray for this young child, that you stand beside her. Help her to walk again, block Satan out of her life, make sure that she is capable of walking again. Help to heal this young princess. Even if it’s not a full recovery, help her to at least be able to take a few steps so she knows what it’s like to walk, make sure that she doesn’t feel left out in life. I pray, Father God, Amen.

I'm not sure the word brave applies here. Now before you all dive on me, I think she is super courageous, wonderful, brilliant, all that. But bravery is a choice. Like jumping in front of a bullet. You choose to either do it and risk your life or not do it to save yourself. Choosing to do something like that is bravery. This is determination to survive, will to succeed. Equally as amazing as bravery, but the word bravery is slowly losing it's meaning as we use it to describe things without a choice.

I've noticed that during this entire video this little girl is smiling.. Smiling while on her wheel chair, smiling through physical therapy. Such a brave and beautiful soul, just seeing how this girl is going through with life with such a positive attitude is purely amazing 💜
I now suffer chronic neck pain due to a back bend I did during lunchtime when I was 12. I was at that time also a competitive gymnast who knew how to do this skill. Now because of the pain, i’ve had cortisone injections into my neck to help relieve it. I’m 23 this Friday. For half my life I’ve suffered like this. Schools should really crack down on children doing acrobatic moves at school. My injury may not be as bad as hers, but it has been life altering.
They should totally make an update on her in the future
