Hi, thankyou so much for sharing this video podcast. I love all your Rolags. The colours are amazing. Happy Spinning 🐏🥰 Take care and stay safe Love Jen xx ❣️🐏
Wow, those sunflower colors are spot on!! So pretty! Did you say you’re using a hairbrush cleaner to clean off your board? I’m going to have to look for one. Looks like it works great.
I love the tweedy pumpkin rolags! When you spin your rolags do you always used a woolen spin or do you also use worsted? I've been thinking a lot about getting a blending board but I wasn't sure if you "have to" spin woolen when you make rolags. Thanks!
I won’t matter much if you spin long draw or forward draw. The prep on a blending board is woolen so regardless of how you spin it it will never be worsted. It will be semi woolen or semi worsted. I am making a video of how to spin the sunflower rolags and will cover that. It sounds confusing, but the bottom line is most folks are spinning semi woolen or semi worsted even if they are spinning from top. I switch my spin back and forth when I spin rolags. Woolen prep is loftier than worsted and won’t be as durable, more prone pilling.
I dont think sunflowers are my ascetic but your fiber is gorgeous and chemknits also did a Sunflower colorway that I loved. Maybe I should rethink my position??🤔
Clemes and Clemes. It’s my favorite! They have a blending board brush, but I already have the burnishing brush for my drum carder, so I use it. It works. Great! clemes.com/

Yes, a hairbrush cleaner. I got it on Amazon.

I have always struggled with just how much fiber to put on the blending board, I am gonna try your 25 grams!
Awesome! Let me know how it works!
