Scary to think that 25 years ago we first heard this beautiful opening score in First Contact...90s feel like yesterday or in my case a few years ago.

Ya, each shot is rendered seperately. It has taken around 8 months to composit everything.
@@MOVIETIMEstartrek You have a good sense of camera movement ... and speaking as a fellow director, always remember what you want -- need -- MUST have is 'Moments' up there on the screen. Be it a human or a Starship or even a bag of rice on a table -- it's about 'The Moments.'
As we are inventing the desire to want to see more of those 'Moments.' I hope that translates from English to German. In any event, keep at it. Bravo, amigo -- BRAVO-!!

The USS Enterprise E is my favorite
A lot of work went into this, and a lot more talent than I have for sure. But so many questions... why would the deflector dish come online before any other lights? And why do no window lights ever come on, even in the bridge dome? The ship is way to smooth in texture, maybe another pass with some Aztecing would be good. And why is a Runabout going past drydock? Is this a museum in 2374? Same with confronting the Romulan warbird. And yeah, all the Enterprises (except NX-01?) being together is cool, but what the hell is going on there? With all the criticisms though, the end lineup is kinda moving.

I appreciate the work you put into this video, well done except too dark. I would guess that the fan bases First Love is the original Enterprise, "no bloody A, no bloody B, no bloody C nobody D". With all due respect, I never gave a rat's ass about any Enterprise after the first NCC-1701. No problem with the re-fit. I just finished a Enterprise model, no alphabetic letters after NCC-1701.
What happened to the Aztecs details on the Enterprise-A?it looks like a plastic model kit from the 70's .. Still better than the effects from Star Trek 5 though🖖🏾

What's with all the Danube class runabouts running about. They don't come along until Enterprise D.

I don't count the nx-01 among the Star Trek ships, because the series was generally not so good(my opinion), except for it’s music.

The same with that Romulan War bird., that's 24th Century. Enterprise A was 2286- 2293. Towards the end of the 23rd Century. Other than that nicely done.😌 PS I liked the line up at the end, 1701 A , B , C, D, & E .
Sorry, this repulsed me. All your hard work, scene layouts, score, and graphics work, and then you got lazy with the rendering, unless you wanted everything to look like a plastic toy. Even painted plastic.models look better.

I understand your point and I am also not a big fan of the plasticy look, but it was the best I could do back then, on a Mac Mini way back from 2014.
But today launched the Trailer. I had so much fun to recreate my first ever cg work and that it looks all stunning. The music, the visuals - all comes together in that film on January 6th.
And you know what: The 3D Model of the Enterprise A, back then an today - they are the same Model. Lighting is the key element in VFX work.
