Loved it!! I love watching Elk Camp videos so much more then watching the hunting videos. You are correct hunting is all about camp and what happens in camp! Thank you for posting!
I used to get involved in this type camp setup when I was younger, then I came to realize I actually got much more enjoyment out of a small simple setup with one good hunting partner. Large groups like this are fine but you never really get to immerse yourself into the whole outdoors experience sitting quietly and allowing the local wildlife to become accustomed to your presence and going about their business.. listening to the sounds of nature not the constant rambling of others in your presence.. I came to realize camping was for social interaction in the wood.. Hunt camp was for connecting with nature..
My man does all the cooking at elk and deer camp, he loves it, cooking big ten in our group . we share all chores but he is a great cook for over 30 years now ..?
You have a frickin Port-ta-Potti?......That is deluxe. Gotta feel sorry for the poor guy that showed up a bit late and had to setup in the snow. Been there done that. Hope you got a elk or two.
Why is there no blanket and tarp for the pack animals , you rely on them enough when you need em , you could at least give them warm cover from the elements dam it !
+George Adams and that is where you are absolutely wrong........I can promise you that we have and will continue to bring more home than you ever will.

My happy place is Elk camp and Black Bear camp. Thinking about the time spent doing what i love is what gets me through the hard work days.

Congrats! What a great video!
Love all the Couch people worrying about the Horses with no blankets 😂 nobody is worried that the Elk don’t have blankets😂 !
Man that looked like a great time!
Ok, this city dude (Las Vegas) is jealous!!! That looks so frickin cool! thanks for the video.....
No problem! It's a great time.
Looks like a fun time
I love it. Reminds me of grouse hunting in northern ontario
Don't know much about horses but blankets are blankets.
Yes just saw Wild horses with blankets 😂 I suppose Elk need blankets too? Maybe get a tent for them
very good
I'd love it, never hunted in the snow.
Awesome!!!!
Love it!
Thanks!
thats some cold tracking
Great video
Thanks glade you enjoyed it!
That looked like a lot of fun, please check our channel out down here in the Smoky Mountains in the Tennessee area.
Thanks! Will do
Nice elk camp.
Thank you
Gotta have that budweiser!
Do you have to draw straws to find out who hauls the PortiPotti?
+tj fry actually the state of Colorado supplies the one at this trail head.....other wise its a shovel and off you go.
what part of world is this video taken?
Colorado
What unit are you in?
20

You must have had a tarp tp protect your "pac horse", leaving him out in rain and hail was LACK on your part, your dry, and out of the elements?
Weather can change in an instant.
why didn't you guy cover those damn horse's
Fresh outta covers....
Shoulda gave them one..s
@Tim Podhorn
Lol when someone is quoting John Wayne and "Indians" its always time to raise the BS flag.
Cool beans
Thanks!
K
Cool video. Beautiful country!! Black cowboy hat is sexy!!!!
that poor horse was out side getting hit with all that hal
poor horse--you all gave it no cover.
Alcohol decreases core temp. it causes your blood vessels (Surface) to dilate, s, making you feel warm.
Why is there no blanket and tarp for the pack animals , you rely on them enough when you need em , you could at least give them warm cover from the elements dam it !
the horses would be fine if kept behind a windbrake
The horses were fine right where they were.............
Merhaba!
this is not camping but more to command Centre in war hahaha..
The worst part of the "shoveling" is when the ground is frozen hard. Done two elk camps in the last yr.
Could at least give horses some protection
Behind the scenes glamping. O_o
I'll be reaching out to you. I am extremely interested.
Any time
All of the drunks think they are going hunting.... and go home with nothing!
+George Adams and that is where you are absolutely wrong........I can promise you that we have and will continue to bring more home than you ever will.
Next time get a shelter for the pack horses. Shame
Why? Its a work animal, born and raised in the elements......get a clue
tracknthetrail doesn't mean you should mistreat them..pretty fucked up.
alcohol and hunting. Not a good thing.
porta potty.......really!!!!
So you camp in a parking lot with other tents and a porta potty. I would rather stay at home, this is not an elk camp.
😢
Amazing that you can't do a good video. The camera is moving to fast. The video itself is fuzzy. Don't waste my time.
Dont watch, go film yourself riding a bike
