Davis tents are awesome. The only a few things you lack. Windows vinyl foor and out door carpet i use 3' strips the lenght of the king bed for those frosty mornings for the ultimate crib.
Great question. I vent the top of the shelter right below the peak of the "a-frame" using ridge pole sleeves. That area is mainly meant if you're using this wall tent with a ridge pole that you might find in the field. So right there I have two big vents. Here is a video talking about them being used as vents: th-cam.com/video/HgBfxH-RFa4/w-d-xo.html The side walls also have slight venting at the bottom where the canvas meets the ground. And the front door I don't zip down all the way. And I could use part of the window section to vent if needed. I'm very used to using propane and these sunflower heaters growing up in Minnesota ice fishing, so I've always been careful with their use, but they work well when you don't have the ability to use a stove setup.
@@brady_j_miller Thx. Yea i was wondering why you weren't running a wood stove instead. Area fire restrictions? You can also get a CO detector/alarm/thermometer on Amazon for like $40. Might be a good thing in super fridged temps where you might want to leave a heater on all night.
@@uproutdoors7070for some reason, I’ve never had the best of luck with those big buddy heaters. I tried using them once above 10,000 feet of elevation and those low oxygen sensors made them not turn on at all. I brought them back to my house at lower elevations and the fired right up. For certain hunts, sure they work great.
Cool set up. Hope it helps you sleep at night while you contribute to the slow demise of hunting and the outdoors. Keep selling hunting media, it SUPER good for hunting and not at all destructive. Don't think about it too much, you might not like what you realize you're doing.
Brady went elk hunting again this year?!? Crazy times. I think his GoHunt pals may be slightly converting him over to becoming a big time elk hunter. Time will tell.
@@DavisTentthat tent has seen some great hunts over the years! I appreciate you all greatly for building a solid setup. Glad I can borrow it from the office when needed 👊
I did a ton of research on what sleeping bag to get for wall tent style hunts. For years I kept using my backpacking sleeping bag, and while that worked, it wasn't ideal in a sense. And every time I hunted in a wall tent, I wish I bought a new bag sooner. So last year I bought a Bulter Bag and it's their All Season Sleeping Bag. And so far I love this sleeping bag on wall tent style hunts!
@@budmcgavranthere’s some great options out there. And I will say that I paid full price for mine. I think a lot of people assume I get things for free which isn’t the case. I use what I love and trust.
I’ve got a January deer hunt coming up, bought a new canvas tent for it. Ultra glam camp. This gets me stoked for it.
A nice wood stove with some fire wood under the awning out front is pretty nice! No sleeping bags needed just a small blanket!
I like it…Especially the ‘decoration’ outside! 👊🏻
Great touch!
That's a pretty nice Crib!
Looks sweet good luck out there

what do you do for ventiliation for those 4-5 CO spewin heaters/laterns?

Big buddy heaters are indoor safe and have a low oxygen sensor.. I thought the same thing. Plus, they use far less propane and give off infrared heat.

I dont know, but a wall tent without a woodstove just doesn't seem right.
Wood stove Look good Brady Was that a Montana wall tent
God's Blessings

If you listen to the podcast he has lots of elk points built up in different states. He did this one muzzy open sights.
Who manufactures this wall tent? Been thinking about bumping up to a Kodiak Canvas wall tent but recs appreciated!
We made this tent :)
@@DavisTent You guys make fantastic tents! Bought a 15X18 from you guys years ago. Great product!

So much mastering going on in this video, I wonder how much baiting is being done off camera 😅
I wish Brady would have said “crib” more..
Crib :)
@@brady_j_miller now I’m satisfied lol
Now that you’ve seen my crib, it’s time for you to get the F out!
...need a bigger tent..... 😂
Bathroom..... pee bottle hanging on the wall... every crib has a Chandelier or two headlamps don't count
