So here we have a new review, the chicks are on a roll This one's about a Presto thing that makes a waffle bowl It worked the best with waffle mix, but that was no surprise Some of the others left no appeal to most discerning eyes The biscuits looked pathetic, the cake did not bake well The only way to keep them firm is to burn them all to hell The hash browns came out under cooked, the cornbread was okay To simply make a crappy bowl, twenty bucks I would not pay One thing about it that was nice, though no cause for real elation The non-stick surface worked without needing added lubrication The best parts of this product test, at least they were for me Were the simultaneous oohs and ahs from Robyn and Cathy That's all I've got, my rhyme will hereby now come to an end Until next time, arrivederci, and so long to all my friends
I use a pastry brush and a little bit of melted butter just brush the insides top and bottom of the waffle bowl maker and then put your batter in cook for 2 minutes.... I used tongs to remove them . Good luck!
I watched another video that said to leave it closed until the light turns off. They don't seem to follow that at all, but I think they would get better results if they did,
I ❤ that you gals tried making different kinds of batters. I don't own one of the Waffle Bowl Makers but I make the traditional Waffles and while still hot I place them over the top of an UPSIDE DOWN BOWL or WIDE MOUTH MASON JAR. Let them completely full-on cool, then remove them. Doing this will shape them into a delightful Waffle Bowl for all types of food options and it's much easier to gage the crispness and the timing for consistency when making several. I learned this tip from a friend who regularly Bakes and it works Great. Also, fir certain Batter Mixes I place Parchment Paper between the finished Waffle and the Bowl or Jar so they come off easily. For the Dash Mini Waffle Maker... an UPSIDE-DOWN Custard Cup works well too. Yes, I had heard that the Waffle Bowl Makers were hard to get a good measurement of how much Batter to use and how long to cook them so I'll continue to use my friend's method.
You two were great together... Robyn is such a genuine woman, no ego, sincere, funny, down to earth, gentle, kind, and fair. I've never met her, but you can tell thats how she is. I bet she's a great mum and wife. Beautiful through and through.
It seems like you could just find two bowls that nest and heat them up in the oven, spray the inside of one and the outside of the other with some oil spray and fill the bottom bowl partway with batter and stack the other bowl on top and pop them back in the oven for a few minutes.
I would love that biscuit bowl with some scrambled eggs, sausage, and smothered in sausage gravy. Oh man my tummy is rumbling now. Thank you for the video. Its a great novelty item, but not for me. Have a Wonderful day, Be safe.
I really like their shirts. For some reason, I doubt they will sell mens shorts with the 2 chicks approved banner. But I would buy a pair or 2 if they did.......
great review but wheres the bacon bowl, or the sausage bowl, or a omelette bowl? loved that look Robyn, when Cathy said "no pressure but i made it work". HAHAHAHA!!! how would it work if you put other ingredients in the batter as to if they would change the cooking time like putting chocolate chips in the waffle batter, or peppers in the corn bread? i think its kinda cool to have to play with but i like many others have no room to store it. thanks for the laughs, "Cathy you cant touch this!" HAHAHHAA!!!
I just tried a bacon bowl, the bottom was extra crispy and the sides weren’t done. It was a mess to clean up! I think peppers in the corn bread would work. Chips in the cake mix might work as long as they don’t melt out of the cake. Thanks Ken!
Brilliant review once again lassies.I need to see if this is available here in the UK. It's freezing cold here in Scotland & yous 2 are dressed in shorts & tshirts. Not fair lol :D :P
When I use my regular waffle maker for anything other than waffles (cookies, biscuits, etc.) it is too hot. I adjust for this by unplugging it after 30 seconds or so. There is no other way to reduce the heat.
Another great real-life review. I'm not sure the waffle bowl maker is worth the trouble and storage space. There's a local ice-cream place that makes waffle bowls so if I ever feel I need a waffle bowl I can go there.
Looks to me like it’s a good idea to spray with cooking oil before using it EVERY time? Your batters might have been a little bit too thick for it?? Maybe thin them out a tiny bit first ~ not too much!!
I want the waffle that you use for ice cream :) hash browns little less potatoes 5 min then add scrambles eggs and ham and cook another 2 or three min....breakfast bowl :)
You ought a check out a new skillet called diamontechpan it's so strong you can jump on it with a pogo stick without scratching it or even leaving a dent.
Just seeing this review. I have to say, I really enjoy your videos. Just a suggestion, if you put the food in a small bowl to cool instead of on a flat plate you might have better success with them keeping their shape. Keep up the good work.
My suggestion is not to us a FORK rather use a silicone spatula works great Also if you want it to cook a bit longer.. open the lid and let is sit for another minute or so
I gotta say, that's pretty slick. I think you should've disregarded the burning smell and let it cook longer. Maybe it wouldn't have burnt and it might've been crunchy. Maybe.
For Hashbrown Bowls, you need to use thawed tater tots (I set mine out in the morning in a bowl to thaw but you can thaw them in the microwave). Set the tots in waffle bowl maker to "cover" the bowl, but that is how I do "hashbrown waffles" and it works perfectly every time. It is a combo of the potato being a smaller dice and the oil that is on them from being par fried. I have tried to make waffles with the simply shredded potatoes and it didn't work in a standard waffle maker either.
Great review.....For me I feel like this is just one of those gadgets I would play with once or twice and then it would sit, I dont have room for alot of extra kitchen appliances....its a no go for me lol
Not the product for me, but a good review none the less. Also i like the 2 cent chicks shirts! Now you should do a review of the shirts and talk about why everyone should buy one 😁
A video like this really gets on my nerves especially when I truly need to see if a product really works so I can go and buy it. It is very annoying and a waste of my valuable time when youtubers don’t take the time to create something good and they are just goofing around. These ladies act like amateurs, both in the kitchen and in making videos. You'd think they’d have the right utensils to use the gadget so that they don’t burn themselves and it’s not painfully awkward just to get the bowls out. I understand that non-stick finishes require that you use wood or silicone utensils and here they are using metal forks and they are so clumsy that they can’t eve n take the waffle bowls out. Obviously, different batters require adjusting the consistency and cooking time. The problem is not the product, but these two ladies that don’t know how to use it. Presto should be very concerned about people like them misusing their product and in so doing stopping people from buying it.
It amuses me to watch you ladies try not to trash something you don't really like. I agree, for my purposes it is useless. I am sure there is someone with a huge amount of storage that *needs* this for their chili parties while watching football. But...not me. Thank you for the entertainment.
ALL SAVE ME SO MUCH MONEY and ARE THE BEST LAFF MEDICINE TOOOooo... will yawl test one of the night visors to see can you really see better at night .."O) HUGSSSS

This one's about a Presto thing that makes a waffle bowl
It worked the best with waffle mix, but that was no surprise
Some of the others left no appeal to most discerning eyes
The biscuits looked pathetic, the cake did not bake well
The only way to keep them firm is to burn them all to hell
The hash browns came out under cooked, the cornbread was okay
To simply make a crappy bowl, twenty bucks I would not pay
One thing about it that was nice, though no cause for real elation
The non-stick surface worked without needing added lubrication
The best parts of this product test, at least they were for me
Were the simultaneous oohs and ahs from Robyn and Cathy
That's all I've got, my rhyme will hereby now come to an end
Until next time, arrivederci, and so long to all my friends
Don W Another good one! 😂 I wish I had a witty reply but I’m not as good as you are. So I pinned your comment so more people can enjoy it. 😀
I'll supply the witty, you supply the pretty.
Deal! 😁
2¢ Chicks Ok can you show us your way of making sausage gravy??
I use a pastry brush and a little bit of melted butter just brush the insides top and bottom of the waffle bowl maker and then put your batter in cook for 2 minutes.... I used tongs to remove them . Good luck!

Beautiful through and through.
If you read the directions it tells you to invert cake bowl over small dish, cool then it holds shape
I wonder how it would work with two small tortillas sandwiched together with cheese. Kind of like a Quesadilla bowl or grilled cheese bowl
Good idea
We love ours for cornbread bowls and chili. Comes out great!
I only subscribed to your channel a few days ago and i love it!. Im catching up on all your old videos too
Thank you!! We appreciate you watching!
It seems like you could just find two bowls that nest and heat them up in the oven, spray the inside of one and the outside of the other with some oil spray and fill the bottom bowl partway with batter and stack the other bowl on top and pop them back in the oven for a few minutes.
Wow! That works amazing for the waffles!! It IS a Waffle Bowl maker, so it lives up to it's name and what it is sold as!
I use mine every Sunday to make breakfast waffle tacos. I daughter loves them
Thank you ladies I got one last week just to make bowl’s to put stuff in. You to are good together and funny. Lol
I eat ice cream for breakfast regularly and always wanted this. Nice to see a review
Do you think the consistency of the different batters matters??
I just bought one of these on amazon - it was only like $25. Thanks for the demonstration ladies.
I giggled at your sound effects whenever you all would lift the lid. I appreciate that you always try to find other uses for things.
😁 I wish we could have found more uses for it.
Ladies... now this is something I can get behind!! I luv it!!
I wouldn’t mind having one if I had room to store it. I’m filled up with gadgets😂Kids love stuff like that, thanks for the review😃
Im wondering if it would work for a bacon bowl and to hold the shape, maybe drape them over a bowl or cup.
No, I tried it last night and the bacon on the bottom was crispy and the bacon on the side was barely cooked. Also, it was a mess to clean up. 🙁
@@2centchick ewwww. Probably best in the oven then. Thank you. ❤
Sofia the great You’re welcome!
I would love that biscuit bowl with some scrambled eggs, sausage, and smothered in sausage gravy. Oh man my tummy is rumbling now. Thank you for the video. Its a great novelty item, but not for me. Have a Wonderful day, Be safe.
Yeah it’s fun but definitely not for everyone. Have a great day!
danish8669 You can make yourself banana split sundae with the waffle bowl😏
That Sounds Delicious.
All the $20 gadgets add up! Love you ladies!
I really like their shirts. For some reason, I doubt they will sell mens shorts with the 2 chicks approved banner. But I would buy a pair or 2 if they did.......
its a good test ladies ..good job
I hope you ladies are ok in Nashville that flooding is getting terrible there?
A lot of rain but no flooding in our area. Thanks for checking on us! 💕
Thanks for the upload....It's my Bday today. Who's the Packer fan.?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Hope you had a great day!
My husband is the Packer fan. -C
Can you make stuffed items in this 😮?

Great review I wonder if thawed tater tots would would better than loose hashbrowns. That's what I've done in my regular waffle iron.
I think that might work a little better. I’ll have to try it. Thanks!
Great video as usual. Love your channel!
Thank you!
those t shirts are funny ,,its a good idea ..excellent ..omg , good ladies ..good job
Brilliant review once again lassies.I need to see if this is available here in the UK. It's freezing cold here in Scotland & yous 2 are dressed in shorts & tshirts. Not fair lol :D :P
Thank you! Unfortunately, it will be cooling off here very soon too. I’m not looking forward to it!
When I use my regular waffle maker for anything other than waffles (cookies, biscuits, etc.) it is too hot. I adjust for this by unplugging it after 30 seconds or so. There is no other way to reduce the heat.
Good idea! Thanks
Chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream yes! If I made the waffle bowl for the kids they would have it full of syrup. LOL
LOL yum!
This review left good impressions. :))
😜
Great video once again , more kitchen product reviews please 😊
Thanks! We’ll see what we can do. 😀
Why does someone always put a thumbs down to your videos !!! #jealous #cathy&robyn #2centchicks
I just love Robin! So hilarious 😆
Do you think if you didn't press the biscuit dough flat and put it in the machine, in its original form, that it would work better? :)
I think it would burn before it was fully done.
Bummer! Could you make a bacon bowl out of it? :)
Another great real-life review. I'm not sure the waffle bowl maker is worth the trouble and storage space. There's a local ice-cream place that makes waffle bowls so if I ever feel I need a waffle bowl I can go there.
guess if you like to eat your bowl may like it not sure id find many uses
Looks delesh keep up the grate work and evreything you do
Thanks!
Fun . . . YOU ~ ROCK ! !
Looks to me like it’s a good idea to spray with cooking oil before using it EVERY time?
Your batters might have been a little bit too thick for it?? Maybe thin them out a tiny bit first ~ not too much!!
Thanks, I’ll thin it out some next time.
Take a rolling pin or glass and roll out the biscuit more thinner. See if that helps.
5:34 's stare made me laugh so hard. She was like, Goshhh. XDDD
For biquits use Bisquick mix. It might work better.
Thanks!
Oh wow! We’ll check it out!! Thanks
not seen this one would make a strange looking burger i was looking at the japanine takoyaki maker round wafle shape machine like 50 and up
Haven’t heard of that one.
I wish you had videos everyday, you all are great !!!
Aww thanks! I think you would probably get tired of us seeing us everyday. Lol
@@2centchick Never, I am south of New Orleans so I always support fellow southerners!
We really appreciate your support!
Pie crust might work but how about cheese
Just seeing this review. I have to say, I really enjoy your videos. Just a suggestion, if you put the food in a small bowl to cool instead of on a flat plate you might have better success with them keeping their shape. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the tip!
Does this mean washing up less plates?
:^D
Yes it does. 😁
It takes up precious real estate in my tiny kitchen. Not for me. Good job ladies!!
I gotta say, that's pretty slick. I think you should've disregarded the burning smell and let it cook longer. Maybe it wouldn't have burnt and it might've been crunchy. Maybe.
Yeah I’m thinking it wound have tasted burnt. Lol
@@2centchick You never know til you know. John would've done it.
Too bad you didn’t read the directions. Supposed to wipe with oil. No spray. Don’t tap spoon.

Great review,Ladies..
Great review.....For me I feel like this is just one of those gadgets I would play with once or twice and then it would sit, I dont have room for alot of extra kitchen appliances....its a no go for me lol
We feel the same!
Hash browns need to be dried w a paper towel before you put them in.. as they have some frost on them from the freezer..
Yo wait, girl, what is that land o lakes butter I saw? They got pumpkin spice butter? Oh my days, i need to go find that.
Yes it was and it’s awesome!
I need.
Goin' shopping tomorrow for sure. Hopefully it's not a pain to find out here.
Great review
Thanks
“Wow, I wish this was a bowl!” Ah haha 😂
😄
Not the product for me, but a good review none the less.
Also i like the 2 cent chicks shirts!
Now you should do a review of the shirts and talk about why everyone should buy one 😁
Would that make you want to buy one? 😁
@@2centchick Why yes, I have always wanted a woman's shirt! 😆
Looks like your batter is to thick?
Fried chicken in the waffle bowl
Good vid
I can’t believe you didn’t try it with tortillas!
i use 2 cop sticks to get them out
Good bid
Pumpkin spice butter, now you just need some ugg boots and a latte.
😂😂 exactly!
Invert bowls over bowls until cooled and set
Try not to use thick cake batter.
I found the only maker that I don't use is this Waffle bowl maker, just taking out my space
oooooh this is dangerous for me, with the amount of ice cream in my home...
But now it's time to see if it works lol
The Kids will like it . That's all that matters......Well maybe dad to.
The other videos said 4 minutes

Fistikita Gunther I bought it... It’s great 🎉 you should buy it. It works really well ❤️
I plan on eating my oatmeal with these bowls.
i wonder if you could put tortilla in it and make taco bowls....hmmmm
I have made a small tortilla bowl, it held it shape pretty well. It was cute!
I know it sucks but I want
LOL 😂

You could even put a tortilla in it or put spaghetti noodles in it!
It is only limited by your imagination.
Good idea! Thanks
Mug cakes... Yeah. Gravy.... Yeah. Waffle wut... Idk 😐 ☮️💟🙂 😂😂😂
Well let it cook a little bit longer and then it would be done

Awesome review but I would not buy one!! Thanks ladies!!
You’re welcome!
waffles with ice cream ..
None of the batters you used will work because of their compositions.
but will it make a bacon bowl? hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
How did we forget to try a bacon bowl?! 🤦♀️ I will try and let you know.
Did not work! The bacon on the bottom was too done and side were barely cooked. And now it’s a 1/3 full of bacon grease.
Bummer ladies
