I've caught up with the manga and i find this manga very good. I don't know your taste thought but I'd suggest reading it and see if its matches your taste. It does have a slow start but it is worth it, though if you still don't enjoy it after chapter 99 then drop it.

Definitely! Best ongoing manga I’m reading! And despite this it is CRIMINALLY underrated and overhated (pretty much exclusively by people who refuse to even read it in the first place just because of Fairy Tail). So DEFINITELY give it a try! It’s very dark the further in you get and VERY plot twisty. At the moment there’s pretty much a new mind boggling revelation every chapter. There’s also one season of the anime out (with the second one on the way and confirmed for next year- and likely early next year at that) if you feel like checking it out that way too :)
