  • In this video, we look at 15 not often discussed signs that show you are having liver damage. We also discuss what you need to do in order to avoid reaching this stage. These are some of the things that we discuss in this video:
Xanthelasma: White deposits around the eyelids due to cholesterol buildup from liver dysfunction.
Pale stools: Liver dysfunction affects bile production, causing loss of stool pigment.
Floating stools: Lack of bile leads to undigested fat in stool, making it float.
Jaundice: Liver struggles to process bilirubin, causing yellowing of skin and eyes.
Bleeding gums: Liver damage reduces clotting factors and platelets, leading to easy bleeding.
Finger clubbing: Nail curvature seen in liver diseases like cirrhosis and hepatitis.
Terry’s nails: White nail beds due to changes in blood vessel supply from liver dysfunction.
Spider angiomas: Liver damage affects hormone metabolism, causing spider-like blood vessels.
Gynecomastia: Excess breast tissue in men due to increased estrogen from liver damage.
Right-sided stomach pain: Liver inflammation presses on nerves, causing pain.
Enlarged spleen: Increased pressure from liver damage causes spleen enlargement.
Esophageal varices: Enlarged veins in the esophagus from liver-related blood flow issues.
Intense itch: Buildup of salts and bile acids under the skin due to liver dysfunction.
