While I was colouring in the Megalodon's gums I used brown instead of dark red, like I should've done. So now the Megalodon has a moustache. Whoopsy. And btw, the next video will be Dire Wolf vs Thylacoleo, thanks to Spino Jesus for giving me the idea!
Do not forget that using a spino underwater is actually not all that great. It will do fine and all. But the moment you step off its gonna dash to the surface and leave your ass out in the deep. Its useless for farming oil or killing dino’s for materials. Since most of them drop valuable items and you will need to get off to go get it. Versatility, spino will be great. But comparing it to a meg is just silly. Its way better for underwater use. Untill you get a basi.. or a squid.
naa just have it on follow and set it to high distance. you can do this with any dino and they wont swim off. i prefer the spino over the meg It can back up and harvest jellies nicely. Its all in how you use them as to whats better.
I do feel like they need to fix the diving problem, as well as the oxygen for the Spino. There's no doubt that it would've been VERY agile and capable in the water. As for the oxygen, I don't think it was fair for them to make it so low.
I've only started making these new types of Creature Comparison videos for like 7 months, and they haven't gotten that many views yet. Hopefully TH-cam will start suggesting these videos to more people though.
Meanwhile my Spino travels at Mach 6 in the water and begins to fly almost killing itself, someone have a explanation for this? I didn’t change any stats only taming speed difficulty and harvesting
It’s really flying? Lmao. There use to be a glitch where sarcos would move so fast that they basically teleported around in the water, maybe that’s what’s happening to you? And when you say changed the stats, do you mean from the world settings? You should never mess with the world setting creature stats.
Hey I loved loved loved your video So comprehensive and inclusive that I feel like i have so much useful information from this and I truly appreciate it I just started playing Ark mobile a week ago and haven't been able to put it down I'm still learning and figuring it all out (only level 51 rn) but I got a spino and was planning on building a boat and traveling by ocean to avoid large predators sneaking up on me And I was gonna bring my spino as protection but wanted to make sure It wouldn't get wrecked by megaladons XD Honestly tho I havent even thought about taming them and might tame a couple now and use them for boat protection Anyways great video super informative Liked and subbed now

Definitely. Increased damage, even more increased damage to smaller creatures and the predator vision like the snow owl. And then maybe some unique harvesting abilities.
When i was playing ark with my brother i saw spinosourus that we called it sps. And i saw sps fight 2 megalodons and he killed 1 and swimmed away to the spawn when we saw him swimming and that megalodon was annoying he killed US all the time.
Spinos aren’t better in EVERY way, and they are also very similar to Megalodons, so I made a Creature Comparison video on it to find out exactly which creature is better for different tasks.
Hahahaha Ark just needs to give a tlc to the megalodon, I can’t change Ark’s settings just to make things more realistic since most players aren’t playing with those stats.

Yep. Hopefully after Genesis the devs will go back and give some creatures much needed TLCs and also fix a lot of problems the base game has.
