Mark, Your 14060M really is a better looking watch than the new Subby with the ceramic bezel. I realize you don't like the rattlesnake bracelet much, but you can always change out the bracelet for something more substantial and still enjoy the better contours of the pre-ceramic Sub. The bracelets are interchangeable, as well as a number of other strap options out there. Think of the early sub case as a 21 year old Kate Moss and the maxi case as The Ashley Graham with a wart on her face. Or, maybe to you, Cardinal Ving size or the Pontiph size.
It all comes down to personal taste doesn’t it? I won’t waste breath trying to alter your reality but I always have fun when someone tells me I should like something I don’t like.

Damn Marc.......I can't keep up with you and all the new watches you are buying......but I'm satisfied with my Rolex collection and have been dumping any extra cash this winter into Bitcoin. Then in a couple years it's a new Lange Terra Luna for me, with plenty of extra cash to burn.
You can now buy that same box set with all the paperwork and a blank warranty card for $45 (counterfeit). For $90 you can give them your watch SN and Ref No. when ordering and they clone Rolex font and print it on the card along with the name of a legit AD. Pair that up with a top tier Noob or AR Rep and its scary hard to tell it from real

Nice watch mark , I think you paid the same price as me but I had to pay the tax at my AD so I was like 9,150 and that watch is exactly what I bought mine for ( the everyday user) because of the non polished bracelet it makes it so much easier to wear. I had my hulk for 5 years before I traded it to get the Daytona and then I found myself with either polished links , precious metal or too dressy jubilee for everyday use. Also I bought it because the AD called and I had the opportunity to. Can’t help it. If they call with something steel then I just can’t say no.
The Sub is worth it’s MSRP these days, that’s for sure. Buying used sometimes involved a compromise. In this case the light polish.
@@marcgoldbergdogtrainer It's not like you can avoid getting scratching on watches. Just one moment forgetting you are wearing a watch while typing on your aluminium notebook and scratches are everywhere! My three day and one day old Black Bay 58 and Harrods edition already have scratches on the buckle. The first scratches always hurt a bit. If you don't want scratches its better to not wear it :(

The color of the hang tag varied by year. This one is correct for its year of 2012. Green hang tag came later.
