I had to stop watching after the fourth time you let you watch scrap against the table. its yours you own it do what you please, I personally just couldnt bare to watch anymore. from what I saw is a very beautiful piece.
I was thinking the same thing. Genius just gets it back from service and he’s carelessly scraping it against some wood table. Scratches are inevitable with normal use but this is just callous disregard
@@Knifeandrorasy . I just had my 1993 Rolex datejust 36 mm two tone black dial stick that I bought new. Never had serviced and it was still +3 - 3. Can you believe that after 30 years. The jubilee had some stretching. I got stretch all pins replaced and installed extra LINK now it's like new for 150 USD. FULL SERVICE, TAKEN APART, CLEANED, OILED, PRESSURE TEST, -2 +2 , BUFFED AND POLISHED AS NEEDED. NO POLIHED THE EDGES. NEW SEALS $200 DONE AND BACK 2 WEEKS FOR 200 USD. I HAD A SMALL INDENT ON ROLEX FACTORY DIAMOND HE FIXED BEZEL FOR NOTHING. I bought new for 2300 USD 1200 FOR ROLEX BEZEL OF THE AD. THE ORIGINAL BEZEL ONLY COST 1200 FROM AD AND Ad offered me 2900 cash for it. Lol.. people have to be very careful with stretch on bands because they could snap and lose it and not even feel it. 350USD is so cheap for all that work. And it's in the United States. Neal

@@Knifeandrorasy well worth the investment. Have to be careful not let them replace bezel, dial or hands. I found an amazing watchmaker to replace all pins in jubilee braclet for only 150 bucks and full service for 200 USD. Neal
Nobody wears watches anymore. These Rolex watches were always heavy and clunky to wear for me. Hated them. Now that I am retired I threw my time pieces in the trash. I live by the sun and moon now, as nature intended. However, I also cannot live without maids and bartenders, and they better be right on time! lol.
Probably the best vintage-modern sports watch. The symmetry is pure perfection
absolutely, it's hard to beat this pure clean dial and symmetry with the 2-lines of text at 6-o'clock and absence of date/cyclops
The best how? The Omega seamaster is a way better watch

Wood wouldnt scratch steel.
Seriously, what bent mind is this.
Oh noooooo, a steel dive watch, a tool, was dragged on a wooden table. We can’t bare to watch anymore
Wood is softer than stainless steal. How can this scratch the watch?
Amazing work done by Rolex ,absolute quality work on a quality watch .
i agree and was very happy the way it turned out!!
Very nice! Thanks for showing us your beautifull watch.
Absolutely, i'm glad you enjoyed seeing the final result
Beautiful watch. Men have the best watches, hands down❤

What did that cost you?
3 years ago the price was $750, not sure if the current price
I called Rolex Service Center yesterday. It’s a $750 for a full service. Any part replacement is additional cost
800 bucks well spent. Rolex are amazing. Now you have papers that is real. Good move.
Yes, it's nice to have the additional Rolex service card authenticating the watch and serial number
I hope you didn't sell this ? Will do nothing but go up in value. You should buy a real box if you d

Please dont hold it by the clasp, letting all the weight on the bracelet!! ;-)
yes good point, i'm much more careful and aware, however when it behind the camera with obstructed view at the time :-)
@@Knifeandrorasy this watch is a tank you hold it wherever, bang it, submerge it and do whatever to it. It’s built for that
@@frankv7068 i agree it isnt gonna harm it holding it there for a few seconds for video lol. i have same watch myself. great classic
