@@engineerhall5887 Hello Richard. In my case weathering molten steel bottle cars. I don't think you'd want that much rust on a normal freight car though, lol. The salt water causes Deluxe Materials Scenic Rust powder to rust faster is all. Time saver but try on a junk car first to make sure it's up to your liking. God bless.
@@engineerhall5887 Richard. Mine are heavily weathered. Did each car three coats of watered down Salt water & Elmer's white glue. Each time you use salt it cuts down the rust affect time . Within an hour it's dry and rusty. Try on an old junk car till you get the desired amount of rust you want. Good luck Richard and God bless you.
Honestly, not super-impressed with the product. It comes out looking like a 1:1 scale piece of rusty metal, which is pretty impressive but doesn't, to me, look like a 1:87 scale piece of rusty metal.
Holey Smokes! Those cars look genuine. Great video.
That’s some really neat stuff. Them are some really roached out gons ! Love em !
Thanks for sharing! I really like the outcome!
FANTASTIC LOOKING GONDOLA'S
Wow that is some real cool stuff. Add metal powder and an oxidizer and bam rust. Really nice.
No kiddin! Never seen this product, but I want a kit for sure!
looks great i think i might try that on some corrugated roofs
Your cars came out looking incredible! I'm going to pick up one of these kits now. Great work creating those dents too on the sides of the gondola.
Looks awesome 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃👍
These are awesome. Do you have a video on how you did the warp and bulging effect.
I can make a how to. Keep a eye out on it
Love deluxe materials. Especially scenic rust. I found better results using salt water instead of deluxe materials rusting agent.
You have to show me. That is very interesting

I would recommend tossing some wood and debris on the bottoms
What do you do to make the gons look all bent and have the bulges in them?
I used a cigar lighter and a flat head screwdriver. I'm coming up with a how to video
Hall,Waz up my boy.
