We used to stay at Check Inn. Located near the old City Hall. Very budget friendly and helpful staff. They even have family rooms. Walking distance to SM, Plaza Mart, Bacolod Public Plaza, Manokan Country, etc. Best location for me.

Open format in the center of the building which makes noise travel. I'm paying 7500 per month.. Even has a back up generator which is a big plus. Did you have show my dirty red Ford? Haha...

It's amazing the number of hotels that have popped up over night. I live here now but used to stay at Sea Breeze hotel just off the Plaza. I can't say enough about the place, good wifi, large clean rooms and they used to give me 10% off if I stayed 10 days or more (700 a night). Family owned also so I always felt like I was helping the local economy. It's got an interesting history being the first 4 star hotel of the city. It's old charm still rings through, you could easily film a 50's movie without changing a thing. Rooms have all been updated in the last few years.

Perhaps you can show some of the residential subdivision properties from the inside if permissible, like the Plantazionne in Ayala, and the Town and Country. Salamat, God Bless and Stay Safe.
These boutique hotels have great prices and some are newly built. Some need to tidy up the front, i add some plants and flowers. One hotel has a narrow street that need cleaning up since it leads to the hotel. How about security?

The most prominent hotels in my yesteryears I recall when I visited Bacolod are those in Goldenfield It is like a mini vegas in 90s . I dont know sir if you are already in bacolod when Goldenfield is a booming entertainment capital of Bcd. :)

Those subdivisions don't allow non residents inside

I will be visiting in November next year. Is it best to just fly in and find a hotel or reserve from the US? I'll be there 3 weeks.
