One thing i like about Bose is they dont change speakers designs too often, they could go years using as specific style of speaker drivers, their rule is...if it works why change it.

Can't really give an accurate comment on this without hearing these speakers in person myself. I'd like to ask what mic was used, and what pre-amp was used? Was their any compression other than what TH-cam adds? Sound is a very relative entity and is only really experienced well in the actually room of the audio equipment. I can say that the older Bose sounded more full, that's all I could gather from this video.

Unless you perform a freq sweep to graph the response this comparison recorded by who knows what then compressed, sent over YT, then uncompressed and played over a persons personal speakers is useless
