Wow,that is amazing that if you don't speak German or Austrian,there's is no way you can find a job,wow.Anyhow I guess each country has got their own different system.I am a Filipino and married to a Dutch New Zealander and fortunately this country is an English speaking country so I don't have to adjust my language at all which is wonderful and helpful.I am always fond to see filipinos nowadays to see married to a different nationalities because I myself can relate every experiences they had.Here in New Zealand a number of our countrymen are also married to a new zealander and I believe as long as a person are both dedicated to each,race has no room to stop it. I'm a Filipino living in America for almost 33 years. Lucky for me since English was my second language besides Tagalog and it wasn't hard for me to land a job and adjust to the American way of life. It looks like you are a happy couple despite the difference in culture. I'm just wondering how this tattooed Filipino captured the charm of this gorgeous Austrian who is willing to learn and adapt to the Filipino culture. In my province leyte ,we should eat all the food in our own plates, otherwise it's a wasting of food, if we leave one piece. but we save the rest of the foods if one of our family members aren't eat yet.

Jesus, I subscribe to your opinion especially true in our earlier generation because of our home ingrained moral values, also by conservative Spanish tradition influenced by religion and till today there still divorce is not permitted. We are perhaps the only country that has no divorce law. Male Pinoys are in general caring and loving to their wives and family. A very few exceptions though and these are not openly tolerated (such as having a fling or extended family).

Not all Filipinos share the same tradition of leaving a piece or more food on their plate. For my family, we were raised to make sure that not leave the table unless our plate was empty & we teach this to our kids & grandkids as well. Finish what you put on your plate. It is not greed, just the right way especially if you are in another's house. God bless

My comment on the practice of Filipinos to leave a piece of food after a meal: it is not a national thing, not for all regions. Maybe in some regions only. (Where I came from---Cavite--- it is not.) Wow! Are you guys close to where "the sound of music" happened? Lol. My comment in my mind just went blank the minute i saw your little daughter. I'm filipino that grew up in san diego (since the age of 6) pero marunong pa rin ako mag tagalog. I'm near the border of tijuana, mexico which is the most dangerous and busiest border in the world. I would never recommend tijuana for a visit, but maybe in the future when it's safer. I would recommend san diego, though. That's if you don't mind seeing a whole bunch of homeless people on the streets. Lol Yeah, i love my filipino food, too. From my experience, i've had 7 different kinds of pancit, i love diniguan and i surely love balut. It might be an acquired taste. I'm not sure. Is your channel geared mainly for married people? I'm not married or have a kid but i sure think you're both awesome people. I'm very much exposed to filipino and mexican food, but never german. I wouldn't know if the food is german or russian. Lol thanks for the video!

I don't think that "culture" of leaving some food on the plate is really a big thing.. as what I understand it's just a kind of a "tease" especially if you're with your barkadas.. but it's really not a big deal.
