  • This is a review of the Stanley 64oz Insulated Growler. Best growler for under $40.00. Perfect for tailgating or camping. I've used mine for cold drinks and hot coffee.

    These things are awesome. I use mine all the time. I use it to make mixed drinks, latte's, teas, whatever. And I can take it basically anywhere. I take mine to work with me a lot and have cold or hot lattes all long. I also like the glasses that came with the set and the flip top lid with latch and the green color. It was a freaking awesome birthday gift. If you are looking for a gift for a guy I strongly recommend this.

      HARRY NUTZAK Thanks Harry we have really enjoyed ours. Hope your having a great week and thanks again for watching the video. I haven’t used it for anything mixed, is cleaning an issue??

      @@greatamericansurvival So far cleaning hasn't been any issue. I just use liquid dish soap and hot water just pour it in the growler and let it set for a couple of minutes and then shake it around a bit.

      That almost sounds sexual... almost.

    I like Stanley stuff. I have a small flask it’s cool. Everything they make is tuff. Very neat I have growlers but never thought about this. Thanks

    It's almost perfect. Almost. But the locking stub is showing signs of stress along the joint. It may only be a matter of time before it falls off.

    For cold priming, would you recommend storing empty, open, and in the freezer?

    Any good for drinking water straight out of it?

    • @greatamericansurvival
      @greatamericansurvival  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s amazing keep water cold for hours. I will say if you use it for beer you really have to rinse it out or the water will taste funky. If your using just for water it’s great. The wide mouth of the growler isn’t easy to drink out but really easy to pour from.
      Hope this helps
      Cheers

    Hey! I just bought one of those 64 Growler for my wife. She drink lots of coffee when working at night. I boiled the water first before I pour it into the growler. About 215 degree hot before I pour that in. Let it sit for about 10-15 minutes. And then pour in the coffee. About 56 oz of it. Now, she says about after or less than 4 hours, it's barely warm. Not hot as should be. The direction did say 18 hours for hot and 24 hours for cold. What am I doing wrong?? You think it might be defective? Or is it really made for beer drinkers? I just don't know. Any advices folks? Greatly appreciated.

      ChevyPowerToGo - It’s intended for both Hot and Cold. It’s just designed around the beer growler look. But works great for Hot, I’ve used mine for coffee and just carrying Hot water to camp. But we’ve also used it for Cold Sweet tea/Lemonade and beer.. hope this helps. Thanks for taking time to comment on our video.

      If you use it for cold liquids, the temperature will drop after 100 hours. But if you use it for hot liquids, the temperature drops after 30 hours. That's what's written on the wrap. How true that claim is remains to be seen. It's not uncommon for manufacturers to inflate claims on the properties of their products. Maybe it could be that they poured cold water in it and then placed it outside the snow in Antarctica.
