Noctis' character arc is the best out of any final fantasy protagonist

without spoiling anything: That can't happen.
With spoilers:
In the "last" quest of comrades you travel to the island were noctis will wake up from his slumber in the crystal. there bahamut challenges you and after the fight he allows you to get "rid of your pasts sins". He grants the characters powers to fight of the monsters until noctis awakes. Then there is a cutscene were noctis awakes and meets the characters that were there for the mission. he than hops onto the royal boat and leaves the Glaives, who fall to the ground, exhausted (propably dead)

Classyeren there’s actually a sidequest in this new part where he teams up with your glaive

Classyeren here’s the steps
1. Download royal edition update
2. Start the game and go to chapter select.
3. Select chapter 14
4. Play it normally until you reach insomnia and meet up with cor.
5. 3 sidequests should become available at the glaive base. One of them involves noct and the gang teaming up with your created glaive as a temporary party member. It’s a nice little nod to comrades being canon.

1:15 I don't know why, but I get such a smile when Noctis says "stand by me."
I love the background music, it really adds to the atmosphere of the moment in a way that's light and powerful. And the climax around 1:21 is poignant indeed.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the Glaive he talk about is Libertus not Nyx. Because Libertus is the one who escort Luna and the only one survive, Nyx die because he use the ring power.

Ray Chase did brilliantly with him at both stages of Noctis’ journey.
So is Royal Edition the complete version of FF15? Because as much as I loved the game, once you get on that boat, it definitely felt like a lot was missing.

Found out AFTER that glaive side quest you could've had your own glaive from Comrades in there instead of just a generic one
the one glaive was nyx he was able to use the lucis ring to beat the general

So...is this confirmation that Prompto and Cindy hooked up at some point during the darkness? I mean obviously they are not together from what we heard from Talcott during the drive to Hammerhead...but that doesn't mean they couldn't have had a fling or occasionally hook up.
Kate7950 it could also be Aranea. At the very least we know he hooked up with one of them.
Aranea was more like a motherly figure to him in his DLC>

Theo Isaac yes its called the Royal Pack but unfortunately you have to buy it as a separate dlc :(

Theo Isaac, yeah, but you're not missing anything really special except the better ending and armiger unleashed. If you have the main game already I wouldn't suggest to buy it unless you feel like it

I believe so, but I think you have to go to chapter select from the menu screen and play through chapter 14 again.

I would say yes it is, they have been re-adding what I want to say is cut content be it cutscenes, dialogue etc and from what I understand 4 more new dlc's will be added in the coming months and I can't find the video of it on youtube that I watched once

At the beginning ffxv is good, but once you got into the boat the next chapter is boring, it become more like hack and slash game like devil may cry, running around in maze without npc.
