I’ve been taking archi courses at my local tech college, and became fairly proficient at revit. My professor gave me a contact with someone needing a remodel and construction documents, I’m currently flooded with work and producing models of houses my clients love. I wouldn’t have had this opportunity without going to college, the networking opportunities are vast and having professionals teach you skills is nearly impossible to get on your own. Be good at what you do, and strive to produce the best work that you can, and you will succeed, with or without a degree ✊

    good vid.
Andrew describes things so passionately, that's amazing.
that part about "what drove you to be an architect?" Wow its real facts he got me back to my childhood thinking that i too was interested in Lego and decorating my room every week moving the beds the closet trying to make more space so it implies to me as well.
really enjoyed the Vid, keep it up.

I felt that too! When he was talking about that I was like, shit, that's little me. It's amazing how it all starts!

So I start my University adventure studying architecture in August and I'm really nervous but this podcast and this interview specifically makes me really excited because I'm going all the way to a university in Mexico so I have to live up to the expectations and this really helps.

Wow, that's incredibly exciting though a little bit scary. But, as Andrew says, keep pushing yourself outside your comfort zone. It's the best way to grow and learn. All the best to you and thanks for tuning in :)

It's been one of the best videos I've watched!
Thank you very much for both sharing their knowledge and experience. =) It's never too late to learn something new and make as many mistakes as you can. It took me years to understand that haha. Anyways, I've wrote all those tips down in order to accomplish them and have another perspective or architecture.
    Great podcast!

There’s way more money in UX and UI than architecture
