    Absolute ripper vid. Short yet concise. This exactly how I’m going to build the cast deck for my new Stacer 399 proline. Cheers.

    Well done Wayne. A fantastic result. But your workshop! I’d love one. I’m green with envy. What a great place for self isolation.

    Video’s been around for a while but still very helpful. Lucky son was just given a Seasprite 350 from his uncle and we are looking at doing similar. Was curious about how much gap is at the front of the deck for getting the anchor out? The 399 is potentially different and visually looks pretty tight on the 350…

      Comes out easy enough. That said I really don’t use it often. I use the electric

      @@Wayne.Groomes.Fishing cheers mate, and thanks for the inspiration. Ended up cutting a hatch for the front which definitely helps with the anchor and storage too. Probably would varnish the ply before carpeting if I was doing again.
      Came up a treat.

    Great video mate, thought I’d mention Ali lengths are a lot cheaper at Ali suppliers in industrial estates then Bunnings (almost half price) they usually sell 6m lengths for cheaper than a 3m length from Bunnings

      And the aluminium from Bunnings isn't marine grade unlike those you can get from aluminium suppliers.

    Countersinking the pop rivet holes would be a lot neater

    Hey mate what type of cutting disc you use to cut aluminium angle?

    • @Wayne.Groomes.Fishing
      @Wayne.Groomes.Fishing  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The grinder is an Ozito and the disc’s are the cheap ones from Bunnings.

    You mentioned a charger. In with the battery. What is it's function ? Doesn't your motor charge the battery?

    • @Wayne.Groomes.Fishing
      @Wayne.Groomes.Fishing  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jeff Louis yep the motor will charge the cranking battery but the electric runs off a second deep cycle. The electric will often run for hours with the 30hp merc off.

    Hey mate. Whats the charger you are using for the battery?

    • @Wayne.Groomes.Fishing
      @Wayne.Groomes.Fishing  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      From Supercheap. Multiple amp input settings. From 2amps up to 8 amps. Can’t recall the brand. Will check when I get home tomorrow.
