Really evokes and accentuates the hopelessness on the scene. You could sense that they were facing something that none of them anticipated. Something really bad.

the music on 1:40 leading up to the other revealing is just masterpiece, you can feel literal chills crawl up your skin and the eerieness of it, god i love this show and and its soundtrack. just amazing
This music just captures the whole vibe the Whisperers give SO well. The music was absolutely phenominal this season. So was the season itself, but idk, the music just really stood out this year, like the scene where Michonne is killing those kids... Incredible work.

this song brings a feeling of utter dread. this showed how scary the whisperers, especially the higher ups like Beta who organised this are. this showed that the whisperers werent any fodder. this and the death of Jesus made the whisperers not another random group of villains, but violent, smart yet deranged troops serving none but themselves and Alpha or Beta.
This song kind of feels like it's a nod to Game of Thrones, especially the Rains of Castamere. Considering what that song signified during a similar tragic incident, I wouldn't be surprised.
