Meh, lived in Tampa for a looong time. Whenever a hurricane rolls around we usually just see some rain and a little wind. I'd be more worried if I lived in Ft. Meyers or Cedar Key.
So what I'm getting at IDK if this is accurate because when I check regular weather it says that it'll start around 8pm-9pm on Wednesday all the way basically to 7am and from there on out it'll be mostly cloudy with rain on and off and then Friday and the weekend show weird weather like it'll rain all day til Tuesday but hurricane will be gone from Florida on Thursday morning or afternoon at least in Lakeland Florida area So IDK honestly but the quicker the better

Exactly what I am thinking as well.. possibly more north towards MS / FL line.. or go all the way up the East coast, rebuilding after it crosses FL.

No John already happened, latest model runs do indeed have Helene hitting the Yucatan which would weaken it and delay intensification

Not off the table, but I’d say a cat 5 is pretty unlikely at this point. Cat 3-4 is reasonable pending no land interaction
