Well done Mike. Thank you for your videos. This is one of the reason I love SDR and mostly Flex. Glad you pointed out the great programs out there. Keep up the good work.
Mike, you are REALLY tuned into Flex radios. So much so that at the end of the video when you opened the USB Cables document, you said that it opened in a "different slice...". ☺️
Hi everyone! Is there any talk or movement on a Linux and Android client? Smart SDR has been out for years and still no Android app or Linux client. This cannot be any harder to create than Mac/Apple stuff, right?
The website for Slice Master is at: github.com/K1DBO/slice-master-6000. At the very bottom is the link to the download page: github.com/K1DBO/slice-master-6000/releases. Spin open the "Assets" triangle and download the .zip.
Warning to Prospective users: Mike being Mike, he carefully "forgets to mention" through 15 minutes of video that much of this software doesn't work remotely. Users naturally assume it does since Flex advertising centers on their products working remotely - it's fundamental to them and a lot of people buy Flex for just that reason - so it's natural to assume that anything Flex explicitly includes in the very same advertising as something that "works with Flex" must work remotely with Flex. But much of it doesn't. Based on posts on various forums, many are disappointed to discover this only after buying and trying it. I know I was. And I wasted a lot of time on it. The crown jewel of these apps, DXLab Suite, doesn't. There's a work around involving port forwarding but there are security risks with doing so and significant functionality is lost. Its developer doesn't intend to even attempt it until Flex finally provides a professional SmartLink API, which despite significant effort on his part, they still haven't. The program Mike makes the biggest deal about, Slice Master, is pretty terrific but also doesn't work remotely. Its developer has it on his wish list but says it's a ways off. Some do, either partially or fully. FRStack for example works beautifully with SmartLink remotely. But don't expect to pack up your computer, connect to your radio via SmartLink at your in-law's house and run just any "works with Flex" app mentioned in this video with your "works remotely" Flex radio like you do at home.

I realize it's quite off topic but does anybody know of a good website to stream newly released tv shows online ?
@Boston Mordechai I would suggest Flixzone. Just google for it =)
I look forward to each new episode! Thanks

Mike, where do I go to download Slice Master; had trouble finding the access point to download.
