I believe many people will be happy to have just a all band Amateur and Broadcast bands receiver (without a transmit part) from Flex 8000 series with all its features, just make it in a normal receiver form factor with touchscreen 10’ display and good sounding stereo speakers, big and small knobs and buttons and so on…

It was time for an evolution. Congrats!!! I will have to get one when money allows, but will keep my 6700 possibly for a remote site.

Some time ago you mentioned that the military contracts would have fallout in the consumer product. I suspect that much better processing power is a portion of that - correct? I do realize that newer components is also involved, and I suspect that things such as improved DNR, Controlled Envelope Single Sideband and the like will have improvements forthcoming.

Out of Stock on every product on the website though. Love that you came out with something 'better' and 'faster' and 'newer'. But when can I get one?

Question: Will there be a way to use multiple samplers with ADP on the 8600? I would like ADP active on HF, but I would also like to use it with my 2m and 432 transverters.

Good question. This needs to be confirmed, but for a transverter, the radio only knows it as an rf signal at the IF frequency, usually 28Mhz. You should be able to sample the RF at a -60db and feed that back into the radio for an adaptive correction. This is a question that would be best asked in the FlexRadio community as we can that ask someone in the company to respond.

Something that caught my attention is at the 10:57 point in the video where Steve talks about the Spectrum View feature that lets the user see multiple bands at the same time. I'm curious how this differs from seeing multiple bands on the 6000 series (2, 4, or 8 bands) and, how many bands will this Spectrum View be able to see? 8 perhaps? KF4HR

As I understand it, it would only show those frequency ranges.

@@FlexRadioSystems It would be nice to have a better understanding of the Spectrum View feature. Any idea when we might find out?

You didn't mention if you're still considering offering an outboard pre distortion sampler/interface for us 6600 owners. If the current 6600 has the processing power to do it, this would be awesome! Anyway will be watching the rollout with interest. My 6600 is only 2yrs old and I can't justify upgrading - yet. Thanks for making the video! VE7OVY

We will do that if it is economical to develop and manufacture. More on this in a few months.

The company provides terrible after-sales service. I placed my order about a month ago and there hasn't even been an update on the order, no information on a date. Terrible service

Hi and thanks for reaching out. I am not able to directly lookup you order since we can't tell who are are on TH-cam, but we do and have sent out updates on product shipments either via the FlexInsider or to those that have radios on order. It sounds like anything we sent you has captured by your ISP or your SPAM filter. You might want to investigate further and if you would like a follow up, feel free to email us at hams@flexradio.com and we usually return emails within hours. We handled over 500 direct replies yesterday.

@@FlexRadioSystems This is not true. You did not send me any email yesterday. I follow the status of my order daily and there has not even been a response to the email I sent to you 3 days ago. Regrettable.
